Arianna is an amazing host, always responded very quickly and was so helpful. She helped with taxis, any issues she resolved instantly, she gave advise on places and even left a little gift for us on arrival. Could not fault the property, it was so clean and modern and had everything we needed.

Anna was the most patient. We had a day delay coming in and we were late on second day. We were not charged on day 1 and she waited patiently for us Space was big, clean, modern. The outside is just what you expect of the most beautiful italian countryside. My 2 years old son loves it!

We usually stay in nicer hotels but decided to take a chance with this apartment. We were not disappointed!! Alessandro is the perfect host. He met us upon arrival, showed where to park nearby and was very friendly and helpful when showing us the apartment as well as suggesting great places to eat. The views of this apartment were fantastic. While standing on our four small balconies (this was a corner apartment) we were able to have a water view as well as the fun of seeing people on holiday walking around the many shops and restaurants below. Spacious apartment with a full kitchen. It even included a washing machine. Of all the places we stayed at during our three weeks in Italy, this apartment was our favorite. We highly recommend Appartamenti La Grotta!! You won’t be disappointed. We look forward to our return. Rick & Alexandra

We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment which comes with a living room including a small kitchen. The building is right in the centre of Bardolino and allows easy access to restaurants and shopping. The carpark is within walking distance in a secure underground carpark.

Inside, the flat is tastefully decorated and very nice. Kitchen utensils were limited, so cooking anything other than eggs and pasta would be difficult, also no kettle and no microwave. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook breakfast every day and some evening meals. There is a decent supermarket less than five minutes’ walk and a larger one around ten minutes away. We did not have a car but we were able to walk everywhere with no problem. It was also very quiet with no noise from neighbours. I would recommend this apartment and would choose jr again for future stays in Bardolino.
