Centro Vacanze Lido Smeraldo
It is a great place to get away for a few days, either on the way to somewhere or travelling through the area. It is peaceful out of season. And if you are ok with not a lot being open then you should be fine. If the weather is good it is a lovely view of the sea in the morning. You have an almost 360 balcony where you can enjoy the sun. There were only 2 other families that I saw but I can imagine that in season it is super busy Everyone is helpful and really friendly. There was no restaurant in walking distance open and I don’t drive so my first night was looking a bit shambolic as I only had a pack of Pringles. But the guy at the apartment spoke to the owner at Ristorante Da Ciccio, the only restaurant open out of season, who came and picked me up in his car and drove me back. It was one of the nicest meals and wine I have ever eaten and better value for money than anywhere that I eat in London. It’s a shame this place doesn’t extend the season as it would capture some good business. And it’s great value for money!

A beautiful property in the countryside with a delightful garden. The property was comfortable, and secure. You can easily walk to the coast in about 30 minutes and drive to Lecce in 15 minutes. The host was incredibly generous with some local foods and plenty of advice. Recommended.

The barbeque grill, the pool it’s bigger than usual ive stayed at in Italy. Also it has a jacuzzi and a playground for kids
The place was perfect, clean and with the everything we needed. The host was really accommodating and helpful.
The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and very clean. Everything is there to make you feel comfortable. Michele, the host, was very welcoming and helped us in many ways, including in providing pre-recorded walks on Google maps through the old city of Lecce. A large supermarket is just round the corner and the garage that was provided was a true bonus, as it might not be that easy to find a free parking place in the neighbourhood.
A very clean and spacious accommodation! The hosts even introduced us to local snacks, the communication went well and they were very hospitable. A short drive to the city centre, with a supermarket and bakery in walking distance. We could use the pool in the morning primarily, but we were able to swim in the afternoon when we asked. We enjoyed having our breakfasts on the terrace, and would recommend this accommodation for future visits. Thank you Francesco and Petra!
