We made a reservation for a small room from booking site, and it was supposed, and correct to book an additional day prior to our arrival, because of time of check in policy of the hotel, but we did that unintentionally, so we were surprised upon arrival that Mr. Joseph had given us a wider and larger family suite with the same price of the small room. when I tried to pay him more money, he strongly refused. Byblos Guest House is one of the most beautiful hotels in Byblos, Lebanon. Not only because it is clean and organized, and it has a wonderful view of the sea, but also the people serving you are very friendly, as if you have known them for a while, they do everything they can to help and make you happy. They cleane the rooms daily, and Mr. Joseph drove us with his private car many times, free of charge, to places such as the sea and nice recommended restaurants And he sent Mr. Rafik's car for us from the airport to the hotel and vice versa at a low cost We thank everyone who helped us in our vacation at this wonderful hotel, Monsieur Joseph, Monsieur Rafik, honest girls Salam, and her friend Sarah, thanks for the night shift gentle man, Monsieur Shady. Was greeted by the super friendly fellow Aussie Blair , who met us outside the property to show us around. I loved the blackboard in the kitchen that has info on local takeaways and food/ restaurants in the area . This property is in close proximity to the famous Edde Sands Beach and bars . Also minutes drive from the old souk in Byblos which is also the home of the Wax Museum . The property has gusto and feels like Home, spacious and great for families as there’s 2 bedrooms and three toilets . Kitchen with a great view for us who cook with a glass or two! Plenty of comfortable sitting space . On Sunday you may hear the chimes of the church bells next door ❤️

The hotel is very nice, 20 mins walking distance from old souq,they can also provide a toktok to take u there as well.. Staff was super friendly, claire the owner in particular was very helpful in anything extra needed or guidance wen asked..wld definitely stay there again. Breakfast was huge and very flexible in timing as well.
