During our stay, we really did not lack anything. The room was amazing, with a very comfortable bed and a nice sofa that could also be used for sleeping. The kitchen in the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for a few days’ stay. There is also a shared kitchen available, which is a great addition and provides anything else you might need. Pets are allowed, which was very important for us. Our dog really enjoyed the yard and, when it got too hot outside, the air conditioning inside the apartment. The hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The property is also very quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and disconnect. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place. We would happily stay here again.

We had a great experience at Pic Ros. Rooms were very comfortable. Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions. The check-in process was smooth, and everything matched the photos and description. We would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was lovely. A hamper with lots of goodies. Location was great, overlooking the Goriska Brda wine region. An easy drive to neighbouring towns.

Marko and his wife are the kindest. We arrived late the first day after a 21 hour travel day. We were exhausted and just needed food! We’re were also too tired to drive and wanted to walk. Marko wouldn’t hear of it and insisted on driving us AND picking us up when we were done. His kindness was genuine.

The facilities are very clean and well-maintained. While it's clearly meant to be a hostel, the common areas are also rather stylish and pleasant to be in, with books to read and board games to pass the time. The organization and is also great, with clear instructions next to appliances and such. The owner and staff are very kind and full of information about the local area, and there are also plenty of maps and other reading material about local events available in the common area. The area around the hostel has a few bakeries and shops, and there's a few bus stations near that take you to the center of town, as well as a train station (note - the google maps location of the train station isn't quite right! It's actually under where the buses turn around). Other than the occasional train and minor noise coming from a nearby workshop, the area is very quiet. Every bed has an assigned place on the food shelf in the kitchen, and a locker with a key inside the rooms. The mattresses are comfortable and there's a privacy curtain on the beds, as well as a reading light. You can also turn off the main room light from your bed.
