Self Catering Accommodation in Srithanu

Location was great and close to shops and food paces but away from parties so it was peaceful. Really clean and helpful staff. Loads of taxis that drive past.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful bungalows right on the beach, great location to watch sunsets, lovely cafés and restaurants close by. Nice pool and garden. Cycy was always helpful, arranging a scooter and transfers, providing some great tips. We hope to come back one day!

It was completely different from anything I've experienced in Thailand. I felt like I was at home with a Thaï style setting. The owners are really so lovely and welcome you as if you were part of their family. It was as if we have known each other for a long time. There is a kind of natural magic in the atmosphere here. This place is synonymous with relaxation, serenity, happiness, peace, harmony, love and unity. The room was clean and confortable, i also had a kitchen with many good equipments. The location was perfect for me because I was going to Orion which was close to my bungalow. And also, there is a supermarket at 2 min by walks, it’s so convenient for shopping. If you are looking for luxurious, soulless, and meaningless places, Smiley Bungalows is not for you. However, if you are seeking a place unlike any other, where you can relax and enjoy your life, with the jungle on one side and the sea on the other, with many lovely cute animals, all with a unique and warm welcome, then this place is made for you. Nam, Nut and Kenan, thank you so much for everything, I will never forget my time with you, you literally made my experience unforgettable. God bless you all.

The location was great and very convenient. The interior of the place was also really nice and cozy. Communication with the host was super easy via WhatsApp, and he was always very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Overall, a perfect stay – I would definitely rate it 10/10.

Apart from the stunning view and the lovely pool with jacuzzi, this house has it all; loads of appliances to cook and make shakes/cocktails and coffee, a great sound system and a proper remote controlled light system. The drive up from the main road demands a proper car, so it's advisable to bring your own or rent one (alternatively, get ripped off by the local taxi's which unfortunately is the norm nowadays in Thailand) The host was a good communicator and it was easy to check in, and out; we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. which has a beautiful private pool surrounded by a nice garden. Restaurants , 7/11 and the best calm beaches are within reachable distance. The owner was great and offered help whenever needed.

Joy was a fantastic host, very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, particularly when a few things didn't quite go to plan. He was quick to respond and genuinely did his best to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay, which we really appreciated. The villa had some lovely features, especially the excellent air conditioning, which was a real bonus during the hotter days. The comfortable TV area was a great place to relax, with good Wi-Fi making it easy to unwind and escape the heat. Despite a few initial hiccups, there was plenty to like about the villa, and Joy's helpfulness and hospitality certainly made a positive difference to our stay.

Beautifully nested in the jungle, the wellness is full of wonderful things : flowers and plants, butterflies and trees. Beautiful swimming pool and wellness area. But what makes this resort perfect is a very professionnel, friendly staff! Thanks so much for making our stay so relax!

Nice location with many good restaurants and bars in 2-3 minutes walking distance, a nice yoga center and quite nice beach.

The location, the cleanliness, the kindness, the beach, the rooms, the pool, the breakfast, and most importantly the TEAM!! They go beyond their ways to help you out and make sure that you have everything you need. They’re available 24/7, they help you out even when you’re not at the hotel. A special thanks to Gigi!!! She was the best of the best, making our vacation even better than it could be. THANK YOU, can’t recommend enough.

Lovely and homely accommodation. I loved the beautiful wooden flooring and the sofa in the living area was so comfortable. The small kitchen was surprisingly well equipped with a toaster, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was stocked with products and had a big shower. The bed was really comfortable and the air con was the quietest unit ever, making for great sleep. The host was amazing and so quick to respond and help with what I needed. The location is perfect- set back enough from the beach that there wasn't people constantly walking by. So peaceful and quiet and the beach has the most incredible sunsets. There is a yoga studio offering drop in classes close by, restaurants and a 7-eleven. Relaxing in the patio area and in the hammock was bliss. I wish I'd stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing, we decided to extend our stay. Our bungalow was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchenette like fridge, kettle and kitchen utensils, but also fresh drinking water so we didn't have to buy plastic bottles of water. Peaceful garden setting and beautiful pool area, good breakfast and lunch options at the on-site cafe. Handy location, several restaurants only a couple hundred meters away but also only a 3 minute drive into Thong Sala for more bars, restaurants, and night markets, and also the pier for the ferry to other islands. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We hope to come back one day!
