Self Catering Accommodation in Volcano

Really quirky rooms, loved it ! Location: 5 min drive to the entrance of the Volcano park..( we were so lucky to catch an eruption ! ) Short drive to store. Hardly any restaurants ,Kilauea Lodge, a Thai restaurant and Volcano Lodge that is about it! Room: Very nice comfy, clean, microwave, coffee machine, small fridge. We brought our breakfast with us. Decor particularly in the bathroom is quirky ,large shower nice soft towels, toiletries, hairdryer.

Every detail in the room is perfect! Nothing is missing. A lot of extras, snacks, sweets, coffee…Everthing is super clean and the bed is incredibly comfortable.

We stayed in the Eco Cabin. It was very cosy, clean and has everything you need. A great base for the national park (feels secluded but is not too far from things). Highly recommend.

Great location. near by the volcano national park. friendly owner and enjoying with dogs. If you are dog lover, playing with dog is one of remarkable time of this place! There is a common area where we can meet with other travelers at breakfast and sharing story of trips! That was great! I definitely want to come back this place!

A paradise in the rainforest. Staying in the cottage was definitely worth a million bucks. Its location in the heart of Volcano village gives you the perfectly authentic feeling of living right in the jungle. Our first impressions were beyond our expectations. The house is surrounded by tropical lush trees and colorful flowers. When it gets dark at night, you can hear the sound of coqui frogs which is amazing. We’ve also had a few visits by some local curious birds. The interior felt super comfortable and cozy, just like home! We loved the extremely soft rug on the floor, unbelievably smooth bed sheets, the details in decor like a monstera leaf plate or the pictures in both bedrooms. There were many board games and books for rainy days. When a rare problem occurred, the host was very helpful and the communication was great, so we remember it rather as a little funny adventure. Nothing was missing and we might actually come back someday, even if it’s all around the globe.

Beautiful setting, private and cosy with fine attention to detail. The tea theme was delightful, the house was comfortable, the facilities were of high quality, the breakfast items were vast and delicious, the host was kind, friendly, and helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. Couldn’t fault the whole experience!

The property is perfectly located for the Volcano National Park and for all other things to do in the area. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast served to the room was just great.

Everything you could want in a little cottage in the Hawaiian rainforest. Really close to the volcano (great when the fountaining started), top notch facilities for somewhere fairly remote and reliant on catchment water (it's triple filtered so you can drink it from the tap). The bed was supremely comfortable too! Provided chairs, flashlights and other useful items for volcano watching.

Hosts were great, owners below were great. Place was interesting, unique and spacious. It had a ton of extra kitchen items that proved very useful for me.

So beautiful and peaceful and the proximity to Volcanos national park is perfect.

The property owner is reasonable and attentive. Room has internet and is 2 minutes from to Volcano Village which has a gas station, restaurant, hardware store and laundromat. I had a few small bumps but; owner responds to text quickly and was able to assist and resolve the issues quickly. Property is 1 mile from Volcano National Park and about 40 minutes from Hilo. Centrally located near Black Sand Beach and Southernmost Point. Drive from Kona Airport was scenic and roads are well kept and easy to drive on. Property was well kept and clean. I would definitely stay at this property again or any property owned by this lady.
