A very well equipped apartment and finished to a high standard. The apartment was in a secure compound with good parking. Great, quiet location on the edge of town.

Anyone looking for an off the beaten path true Costa Rica experience would really enjoy this place! The owner and his family live next door and provided us with a tour of the property, highlighting the verity of plants they grow, including 3 types of coconuts, several types of bananas, vanilla, cacao, sugar cane, wild ginger, turmeric, and several types of fruits. The best part is, we got to sample all the freshly grown products that were in season while we were there. They also offer delicious traditional homemade meals using locally sourced ingredients for a very reasonable price, which I highly recommend! While the house itself is off a remote dirt road, it is only about a 15 minute drive to Playa Carrillo beach, which in our opinion, was one of the best beaches we've been to. There is also an amazing little restaurant, Restaurante El Dorado, off the same dirt road as the house. Note, if going to El Dorado for dinner, be sure to stop in during to day to make sure they will be open that night since the woman who owns the restaurant literally runs the restaurant by herself. Everything about the house and experience far exceeded our expectations! The house itself is very clean and modern while fitting perfectly into the beautiful natural surroundings. If you're looking for a party house or touristy area experience, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and experience the authentic local culture an delicious traditional food, this house is perfect!

Andreas and Ruth are wonderful hosts. This was our first stop in Costa Rica and we couldn't have had a better stay. The views from the bungalow are amazing and the breakfasts were really special. During our first breakfast we even saw two beautiful tucans at the feeding area. We also enjoyed the town of Orosi and the hot springs. We can highly recommend a stay here.

Malgré la météo tres mauvaise, pluie vent et brouillard, Alex nous a donné des couvertures et des chaufferettes et on a eu bien chaud pour dormir. Le jardin magnifique et le lieu très calme. Je recommande cet endroit aux voyageurs qui aiment la montagne.

L’hébergement Country house with an incredible view to the city vous accueille à respectivement 21 km et 24 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Ujarras Ruins et Parc métropolitain La Sabana. If I could rate this place higher than a 10, I would. Gorgeous views, clean and quaint lodging with plenty of room to spread out for a family of four, with just the right amount of amenities and an incredibly kind and helpful caretaker on site who makes himself available for anything needed; from restaurant suggestions to how to open/close the gate to a private chicken coop tour. :) Francisco was a true joy to meet. This site is full of little wonderful surprises. On our too short of a stay we found a cute personalized welcome message board, squeezed in a soccer game on our own field with goals!, enjoyed an unexpected mini-view of the volcano (thanks to Francisco), and found fresh eggs in our kitchen from Francisco’s own chickens! We wish we could have partaken in the ‘Be a Farmer for a Day’ activity offered. It was all lovely and magical, but hands down the best part of this place are the caretaker and host. When I was horrified to discover we had accidentally left the premises with the tv remote control, I was sure I would have a terrible time returning it to them as we had already left the area. But the host worked with me quickly to facilitate a smooth and easy way to return it to the house by the end of the day. No problemo! De mi corazón, gracias F y D!
