We loved the location as it was out of the bustle of town and being set right in the jungle is amazing. The rooms are beautiful with attention to detail such as providing some basic cooking needs such as oil and vinegar was appreciated. Javier and Sebastian are wonderful hosts.

Nous avons séjourné dans la casa reineta. Le logement était grand avec une chambre séparée, une cuisine et une salle de bain sous veranda. Tout etait très propre, très bien équipé et quel plaisir de prendre sa douche en regardant les colibris virevolter dans la salle de bain. Notre hôte a été discrète mais extrêmement gentille et serviable. Elle nous a gracieusement nettoyé notre linge ce qui nous a bien dépanné a mi parcours de notre voyage. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'utiliser la piscine mais elle avait l'air très propre et agréable. Le logement est proche de Puerto Viejo (20min a pied) et de la playa negra (7 min a pied).

Beautiful, tranquil, relaxing hotel surrounded by forestry and backing onto a wonderful beach. We had an amazing stay at the Dragonfly. we loved the calm space, watching birds and animals pass by, spending time on the beach. The villa was smallish but had everything we needed and was comfortable. Shops and local attractions were all no more than 15 minutes away. Anya the manageress was always on hand to help. Looking forward to returning

He met us at the boat dock and walked us to the property, again for a boat tour we had booked, and again when we left. We had bad internet advice and thought there was an ATM in town, so we were unable to pay in cash as he had requested up front. However he accepted our payment by an alternate method (Tilopay) which we appreciated. The property is full of beautiful tropical plants and is very quiet since it’s at the end of the town’s developed area and is right on the boundary of the National Park. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spider monkeys from the front porch, and could hear Black and White owls at night. We had wonderful views of Great Green Macaws, Keel-billed Toucans, and two-toed sloths in the town. From the casa you are still handy to restaurants and supermercados and fruterías. The kitchen is equipped for cooking meals, and Rodrigo provides good suggestions if you want to eat out. Don’t miss the Sea Turtle Conservancy at the other end of town! Even if it’s not turtle laying or hatching season, the video and displays are excellent. We really enjoyed a guided canoe tour for the two of us with guide Kendall.

The accommodation was spotless, super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Communication with the host was fast and very professional. The location is very good. Not far away from the city center and the national park. The street where it is located is super quiet.
