Solange was a fantastic host and quickly made us feel at home. The house is quite basic but very charming. Beautiful sea views, which you can enjoy while relaxing on the hammock. The town centre is within 10 min walking distance.

The Patio of the Villa is really nice, and the living room comfortable.. plus the host Luis was reachable all the time and helped us out with a lot of things!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Isolinda’s apartment. From start to finish we felt like at home. Isolinda has come to pick us at the airport and dropped at off after the stay. The house is located in very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for someone who wants to disconnect and be in the nature. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. There are 2 terraces to enjoy. The local Ponta Preta beach is very nice and you will be pretty much the only people enjoying it. At the main beach in town you can buy fresh fish daily and then enjoy cooking it or making a barbecue at home. The best part is the host Isolinda who always went out of her way to answer any questions and to give us recommendations. She always answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Maio is a small island and you can visit most of the main points in one day either by hiring a car or doing a tour. It feels like going back in time where the pace of life is much slower. Everything is relaxed and no stress :) People are very nice and friendly, greet you on the street and smile. Overall we would highly recommend Isolinda’s apartment and we undoutebly will be back once traveling back in Maio. Thank you again for your hospitality.

I can’t explain how great this vila was. I just cant explain. First of all the Lady was very, very nice she let us stay extra hours because our ferry was at night. Is so great very spacious with tall roof everything was just premium with sea view and very nice pool, a prive access to a private beach and a lot more
