The bed was comfortable and the location was good on the east side, 10-min walk to the Luxor Temple and 15-min walk to the railway. They also offer a 4-course meal for dinner for 350/400 LE which is really good!

Staying at Bedouin Lodge Luxor was one of the most meaningful experiences of our entire trip to Egypt. The lodge is a true refuge — quiet, calm, and completely removed from the constant noise and intensity that surrounds many places in the country. What truly sets this place apart is Mohamed and every single person working at the lodge. The way they treat guests feels genuinely different from most local interactions we experienced elsewhere. There was absolutely no pressure to book tours, buy experiences, or spend money through the accommodation. We were given space, time, and freedom, while always feeling supported whenever we needed help. The food deserves a special mention: breakfasts and dinners were outstanding — without exaggeration, the best meals we had during our whole trip. In fact, on our last night in Luxor, we stayed at another place we had booked in advance, and still chose to travel 18 km just to come back and have dinner at the lodge. That says everything. This is real, disinterested hospitality. You don’t feel like a customer, but like a guest who is truly welcome. A place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. We would return without any doubt.

The apartment is spacious and a huge plus was also the washibg machine which worked flawlessly. The rooftop area is amazing for sunset viewing as well. And the location on the west bank of the nile is great, as it's very easy to cross to east if necessary, it has lots of grocery stores nearby and it's much calmer and more relaxed than the east bank. The host was always easily and quickly reachable and fixed a wifi issue of the provider within short time. Can only recommend.

Mahmoud and Mohammad were the absolute best hosts-- they organised drivers, an early AM airport transfer, delivered dinner and shisha to us on the rooftop most nights, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was nice enough to live in and we felt so comfortable here after travelling rather non-stop for several weeks-- 5 days wasn't enough! The location is in a very local part of the West Bank, away from any tourist bustle but still 15min walk to the river where you can get a ferry across to the temples for about 25egp per person. Would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again next time we're in Luxor!!
