Hoppa is a very good, very cute, extremely friendly and comfortable place. 5 or 6 decent rooms with airconditioning, a really good and clean pool and a kitchen with all you need (fridge, stove, kitchen stuff) to make your own breakfast or otherwise. The good feel of old hippy times, but with 5 star facilities. Excellent warm showers! On the south end of Luxor, under ten minutes by taxi (50-100 EGP) in a quiet mosk free area with a square where local kids play later in the day. Easy to mix up with them.

The guesthouse itself has great interior, clean bathrooms and super comfortable beds. The rooftop is perfect for working, since it’s quiet and has a strong WiFi connection. Abeer made my day with an incredible dinner- with hosts like these you feel like home

The rooms were nice, the outdoor was great and the rooftop was amazing! We had so much fun. Jacob is so nice and attentive, he even brought us a cake made by his sister. He was flexible, understanding and help us with our activities. He charges a little pricey for activities but that didn’t affected our stay. Being able to do the laundry was a gem !

Sudden fresh energy you'd feel at this place after all the haggling, hustling, and history of the trip. For the price charged, I wonder how could they provide this level of hospitality. The rooms were clean, spacious, reasonable amenities, great common space, an entire farm to explore, and the wonderful host. The location is easily approachable from the main road. It is a shame that we could not spend much time there and we had to leave in few hours, but If I ever visit Luxor again, this stay will definitely be my first priority.
