Location on the West bank side is very good. Close to felucca boat and ferry to cross to the East bank. Offered laundry service at no cost. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast served at restaurant next door was excellent and filling. Host Mohammed Ali assisted with tours and transport arrangements.

First of all, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner was extremely accommodating. He helped organizing our tours and made sure everything was okay. He even drove us personally (and free of charge) to the river bank so we could enjoy dinner there. The place was beautiful and peaceful. Nice rooms with AC working perfectly. We enjoyed a sunset in their small jaccuzzi, which was lovely. Lastly, the food was delicious.

Our own 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the west bank! Tons of space, a kitchen, living room etc. We had the ground floor so we had a patio and we had access to the amazing shared rooftop patio with a view of the Nile! The washing machine was great. The owner Ali is superb! He is so attentive and responsive and caring. He organized a transfer for us to and from the airport at good prices. The West bank is great: much quieter than Luxor with some great family-run businesses to support. The neighbourhood is safe to walk around and the water taxis to Luxor are just down the street. The apartment was fantastic value for money and the rooftop was amazing. See pics.

Situated in the West bank district of Luxor, Blue Nile House features accommodation with a private pool and a 24-hour front desk. I like everything about the house. The apartment is spacious, with good facilities and good view. If you need anything from the owner, they will also provide you with reasonable price. The apartment comes with washing machines, which makes the trip very comfortable and we can do a laundry here in the room. Also, there house got nice Nile River view, where we can enjoy the view in the early morning. I book the airport transfer from the hotel too.

Situated 3 km from Colossi of Memnon, Tasneem Palace offers a garden, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Our experience in Tasneem Palace couldn't be better! Mahmoud and Mohammed were really attentive and kind with everything we needed! They shown us their wonderful freed garden and gave us really good tips to visit Luxor! They offered to prepare egipcian dinner for us and it was the best choice we could have made! If we ever come back, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again at their place! You won't regret it! Here, you can enjoy the private house, private garden, private pool, even a private cute cat. The holder is really nice and helpful, he will tell you the best market and restaurant with the lowest prices you never met before. You can ask him for help at any time if you have any problems here. I really enjoy this quiet place here, hope you do too.

Mohammed, the owner and operator of Tara Apartments was an excellent host to our family of four (two parents, two teenagers) during an overnight stay on June 8, 2023. His communication with us prior to, during, and after our stay in the area while waiting to board our Nile Cruise the next day was always thorough and prompt to respond to our questions and requests for assistance. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and always went out of his way to help us and recommending best places to eat, in particular the Nile Soul, a great place to get authentic and delicious home cooked meals. Regarding the apartment, it was simple yet well suited our family's needs - very spacious with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, and air conditioning (especially needed for the summer months and increasing temperature while visited). The location is also in a prime location for families and backpackers looking to escape the high end hotels and prices; located on the Nile's West Bank and within the friendly and welcoming local community, a short walk from the ferry boat docks, and directly across from the Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Mohammed can help you arrange for any of your needs on a moment's notice. Our booking cost that we paid for our stay on June 8 was ridicously low for the high value we received, and under the care of Mohammed and his staff.
