Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Luxor Train Station, Abeer Guest House provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Abeer and Austin were very welcoming and warm. They helped me like a friend and I am grateful. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hot water running and kitchen was equipped to be used. I would recommend this place also to travelers with friends because there is a nice living room space and rooftop to hang around before bed. The location is walking distance from Luxor Temple which is great to explore the area. I have enjoyed their homemade Egyptian meal on the rooftop. I chose fish and it was flavorful, soft and crunchy. Do try their meal! They have other meals and drinks.

This was my second extended stay (5 weeks) of the winter at Villa Golden Life and I can only repeat the sincere thanks and praise set down in my previous review! Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, well-equipped and ideally located in the heart of Ramla, just a stone's throw from the Nile, a short walk from a whole host of eateries and local amenities, and a 10 minute drive to the multitude of tombs and temples of Luxor's West Bank! The stunning roof terrace, which affords views of the gorgeous countryside on this side of the Nile, is the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day's sightseeing. Sari, Yacoub and Matta couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable. Whether you're staying in this magical location for a few days or an extended period, Villa Golden Life offers great value for money and is highly recommended! Situated within 1.7 km of Colossi of Memnon and 2.8 km of Medinet Habu Temple, Bedouin Lodge Luxor features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Luxor. Staying at Bedouin Lodge Luxor was one of the most meaningful experiences of our entire trip to Egypt. The lodge is a true refuge — quiet, calm, and completely removed from the constant noise and intensity that surrounds many places in the country. What truly sets this place apart is Mohamed and every single person working at the lodge. The way they treat guests feels genuinely different from most local interactions we experienced elsewhere. There was absolutely no pressure to book tours, buy experiences, or spend money through the accommodation. We were given space, time, and freedom, while always feeling supported whenever we needed help. The food deserves a special mention: breakfasts and dinners were outstanding — without exaggeration, the best meals we had during our whole trip. In fact, on our last night in Luxor, we stayed at another place we had booked in advance, and still chose to travel 18 km just to come back and have dinner at the lodge. That says everything. This is real, disinterested hospitality. You don’t feel like a customer, but like a guest who is truly welcome. A place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. We would return without any doubt.

Situated in the West bank district of Luxor, Blue Nile House features accommodation with a private pool and a 24-hour front desk. We had such a lovely stay at this hotel, which is run by the kindest family. From the moment we arrived (even a little lost!) they went above and beyond to help us. Our taxi dropped us off at the wrong location, but when we messaged the hotel, they were soooo helpful — they actually sent motorbikes to come find us and bring us safely to the hotel. We were truly touched by their hospitality. They also helped us arrange a few tours during our stay, which made everything so much easier. The food here is fantastic — both the breakfast and the dishes from the menu were absolutely delicious and very generous in portion size. You can really taste the care they put into it. The hotel itself is lovely and has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Nile — such a peaceful spot to relax. Our room was very comfortable and even had a small kitchen, which is super convenient if you prefer to cook a little something yourself. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. It's a great hotel with wonderful, welcoming staff. We definitely recommend it!

Situated 3 km from Colossi of Memnon, Tasneem Palace offers a garden, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This place is just heaven. Really THE best hotel to stay in Luxor. The owners Mahmoud and his brother Mohammed created their own little paradise in Luxor, and were willing to share it with us. They made our stay very pleasant and were so helpful. They always asked if we were ok, if our room was ok, or if we needed anything else. As they are locals to the area, they also have many connections, which we made use of when organizing some tours. And they are very sincere and honest about the prices, as their main goal is to make their guests happy and feel at home, and not to make a quick buck from organizing tours. They also cook delicious Egyptian style dishes, made from fresh ingredients bought on the same day. Tasneem Palace is conveniently located on the West Bank, near the public pier. It only takes a few minutes by foot, in case you would like to visit the East bank side of Luxor. Their rooms have everything you need. The beds are comfortable with nice warm blankets, a spacious bathroom and we even had a living room with a small kitchen and a refrigerator and stove. How incredible is that 👍!! All in all, just amazing. I can’t praise Tasneem Palace enough, as it is just such a great place to stay. You won’t regret it, as Mahmoud and Mohammed will make sure you will have an incredible time.
