This apartment's location was in the middle of the Chartres city center and about a five minute walk to the front door of Chartres Cathedral. We had many bar and restaurant options within a five minute walk (too many to choose from!). The apartment is up a few flights of stairs but it is worth it for the view from the top. And the place was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. Looking forward to staying here again the next time we are in Chartres!

The location was charming. The hosts were incredible and helpful. They made us feel welcome and ensured our stay in the Loire valley was fabulous. The pool was so welcome as it was exceptionally hot while we were there. The breakfast had the best croissants we had while in France from a local bakery along with other local delights and homemade yogurt.
