Winterfell Mestia - Premium Chalet Complex & SPA is an accommodation located in Mestia, 4.2 km from Museum of History and Ethnography and 2.1 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. I had the pleasure of staying at Winterfell Chalet during my last day in Mestia, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. As someone who has visited the area for the past four years and stayed in various hotels and guesthouses, I can confidently say that Winterfell Chalet is a cut above the rest. While there are certainly areas where the chalet could improve, small details and the service, I have no doubt that the team at Winterfell is dedicated to continually improving their guests' experience. And that's why I'm giving them a perfect score of 10. And most likely I will be back next year!

Tamara is amazing!!!!!!! She is super kind, friendly, and helpful! The apartment is located in a very nice neighbourhood and the neighbours are lovely people. It is also near small supermarket with 1-2 mins walk. The apartment is modern, stylish, clean, and has everything you need - kitchen appliances, hairdryer, towel, some cooking ingredients, kettle, fridge, washing machine, tv, private parking space…. We spent two comfortable nights in this apartment and we think if we visit again, we will stay for longer time here! We also love the dog (Bordo) - she is a stray dog and a neighbour of the apartment. She is very friendly, smart, and polite. She understands human and if you are afraid of dog, she won’t approach you. Please give her some food and/or warm blanket ( if you have) , especially during winter!!!!

Their guesthouse is a place where you can find home, friends, very interesting and inspiring community of travelers from all over the world, amazing hikes, magnificent night skies full of starts, long evenings by the fire accompanied by great home food and drinks. It is hidden from the business of the city, yet close to everything you could possibly need : co-workings, restaurants, cinema, great second hand shops, burgers and much more. Set 30 km from Okatse Canyon, Tiny houses Genacvale offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.... The host was super welcoming - we highly appreciated it! The cabin was charming and very cozy. There were farm animals in the backyard! And we appreciated that we could borrow some firewood and make a campfire in the backyard, it was really nice!

We stayed for one night, after our trip to Ushguli we decided to book here again before leaving Svaneti. The room was decorated and cozy. We had our own shower and toilet, a luxury you start to appreciate again after not having a private bathroom for most of our stay in Georgia. They also have the sweetest animals.

Located just 2.6 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum, Guesthouse Guram Baba offers accommodation in Mestia with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay in Tea's guesthouse. You could see that the room was very thoughtfully prepared and you had everything you needed there, even some small details like a reading lamp or mosquito net on the window. Everything was very clean. As a guest you could also use the kitchen which also has all the essentials. The guesthouse is located in a calmer part of Mestia, but you can reach the bus station within 10 minutes on foot. You can also enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains from there. After two intense days in Ushguli we were really happy to stay there and are definitely recommending this guesthouse to our friends coming to Mestia.

Featuring city views, Mshvidoba offers accommodation with a garden, around 43 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. The host is very kind, the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The location is very scenic, just under one of the many Ushguli towers. The room was nice for the price.

When I arrived, I thought the host wasn't home and waited in the living room. But when I messaged on WhatsApp, I got an immediate reply - turns out the kind host was just in her room all along! The room was very comfortable. The highlight was the large balcony where I could relax with tea while enjoying views of the snow-capped mountains - absolutely delightful! While the guesthouse is a bit outside Mestia's center (about a 10-minute walk), the path is easy to navigate. A peaceful retreat with great amenities!
