This is a positive reflection of what I would anticipate that the accommodation would be. Thelma and Donovan are fantastic hosts. I would describe them as Super Hosts. They put us at immediate ease. They are very conscientious and understanding as we arrived later than expected for the check-in. This platform provided them the opportunity to share their natural passionate abilities to host others with nothing being an issue or problem. Nothing beats local knowledge, and they are willing to share this with their guests. The accommodation is a traditional brick house of historical importance. It felt like home from home and had all the provisions that you would want and need for any length of stay. WiFi for those teens and young adults who are permanently glued to their phones (Instagram) and for the adults who need to check important emails and catch up on Facebook. There is a wide range of TV channels to watch and Netflix. However, who needs all of that when you have such a homely, sophisticated, well decorated accommodation. My son loved the garden and spent a significant amount of time there. It has been a tranquil and calming overall experience. (My son is in his 20's) The hosts felt like family, and I shared this with them. They are very special, genuine people. I will be recommending them to all my friends.

The location was perfect, just far enough fro ⁹ the town to be quiet, peaceful and scenic, yet close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The property was beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious with everything we needed. I stayed with an 11yrs old child and we both had enough space to relax and do our own thing at times.

I love everything but what stands out to me is that Ms Sheila is now like a mom to me. This is our second time at the property in less than 2 weeks and the second is even more comfy than the first because it is now our little home away from home. I love how Ms Sheila and her husband comes outside and talk to us and how they are hands on in helping us find a home in mandeville to live. Their smile always brighten our days because they are always happy to see us. Ms Sheila reminds me of my grandmother, so nurturing, so knowledgeable and so welcoming. Honestly, it warms my heart to know that she would go the extra mile for us. Just the way our conversation flow you would think I’ve known her all my life. She makes staying there a lot better. I even exchanged phone numbers because I want to always be in contact with her when I’m in mandeville or otherwise.

She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay knowing we were in good hands. The property itself is a dream, nestled among mango trees with the sweetest little cats roaming around. The view was absolutely stunning. We’ll definitely be back—and I couldn’t recommend it more!
