Extremely thoughtful and kind host, beautiful and well-equipped space, and stunning location. Morning coffee on the balcony with that gorgeous view of the mountains was simply wonderful. Magome and Guesthouse Yanagiya was our favourite part of the whole Japan trip. Many thanks to the owner and host, - we hope to return again :)

Situated in Gujo, 46 km from Gero Station and 100 metres from Rensho-ji Temple, The Nomad Inn Gujo features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. This is a wonderful place to stay in Gujo if you would like to experience what it’s like to live here! With a view of Gujo Hachiman castle from the upstairs window, this house and town are simply great. Quiet, comfortable, within walking distance of what you come here to see. The owner, Masahiro-San, will treat you like family, and his advice about what to see and where to eat is spot on. If you cannot carry your suitcase up the steps to the upper floor, you can bring the futons downstairs and sleep on the heated floor. We came here with another couple and we all loved this house and Gujo. Ask Masa-San to pick you up at the station, if he can he will! The great reviews are very deserving, if you like Japanese style living you will like Nomad Inn. The 6 am. temple bell will remind you every morning what another world it is here!

Lovely Japanese house in a beautiful village. Situated next to a small creek and eating options. There is a gorgeous little garden with a bath tub which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Right in the centre of Takayama, situated within a short distance of Takayama Station and Fuji Folk Museum, とれるの【TORERUNO】 offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such as a stovetop... Loved the location, comfort, balcony, and the fact that there was a parking spot. Though I never met the host in person, they were very quick to respond to questions and helped us with luggage forwarding to this location. I enjoyed my breakfast on the balcony and also watched a parade go by from up there.
