In fact, it was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in New Zealand on my three week trip. Sometimes staying in someone’s home can feel uncomfortable, but this was not the case at all. Julie was so welcoming, and the guest rooms are on the top floor and each have their own private amenities. Julie was incredibly kind, offering helpful information about the area, and she went above and beyond by doing our dishes, refreshing the breakfast food in the fridge, and tidying up every day. The neighborhood is super cute and peaceful too, and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. This was definitely a better deal than any other hotel in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.
