Really clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. Perfect and really good value for such luxury. There is also a surprise chapel on the second floor. Bonus! Thumbs up from us.

The hosts are thoughtful and generous, the room was comfortable and large. Each morning we were provided more than enough breakfast including bread, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets. There are also oranges for juicing, coffee and tea facilities, and a washing machine. The check-in process was very easy. We spent hours sitting at the front of our room with a port, coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice just watching the world go by with a delightful view of the river and the town. The location is in town but towards the top of the hill. Being fairly fit and active we walked from the river to our room many times (including with our suitcases). This certainly gets the heart rate going and is steep with lots of steps, but is absolutely manageable on foot if you don't mind some exertion. Otherwise consider if you will be needing taxis to get to this gorgeous spot. Overall delightful and thankyou to Antonio josé and Cristina for hosting us.

This farm stay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a seasonal outdoor pool. We booked a weekend getaway there and everything went so well: the rooms are new, clean, the view is fantastic, the host is friendly, that’s a true hidden gem in Douro! Perfect value for money.

The place is in the middle of Lamego, and Lamego would be a great alternative to Porto to explore the Douro. I wish we had booked another day or more!

Located in Vila Real, 14 km from Natur Waterpark, Casa dos Correios provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The bed and breakfast features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. My husband and I stayed just one night at the Casa dos Correios. It was easy to check in and when we had a problem with the television remote it was remedied immediately. The Casa is in a wonderful location.
