They allow hotel guests a privileged part of the rooftop to enjoy the 360 view. The rooftop bar serves amazing drinks and food. The Friday night kabab menu was the best meal we had in Funchal. If you prefer to cook in the comfort of your own place, you can make use of the kitchen facilities, which include a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware. We stayed for 2 nights in polar house (orange room). Check in and out was easy, communicated to the host and she replied very quickly with picture instructions. Everything was very clean and comfortable for 2 people. We had a nice view over the harbour. Free parking right across the road. Short walk down to the beach, a few dinner places and cafes plus small super market all within 3-4 min walk. A nice location for access to both north and south attractions on the island!

It was such a perfect location: 5min to the city center, 3min to the next supermarket and ocean view from within the apartment with a large window front.
