We had an amazing time at Vila Alexandru. First of all, the place looks great, it is very clean and well maintained, the owner puts a lot of effort into keeping everything neat. Our room was sparking clean, had everything we needed for a quick stay. The pool is big, you have your own chairs and umbrella, so you can enjoy. It's really worth mentioning that the owner is very kind and friendly, he will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is unforgettable. We enjoyed his stories, and heard nice ideas he had for the villa.

Plenty of parking. No noise from the street or neighbors. The surroundings look a bit shady, but there was no danger. Nobody was costing any trouble. In the morning, we went for a walk to the closest Macdonalds - totally normal neighborhood.

Our stay at this house was nothing short of perfect – we couldn’t have imagined a better place for our trip. The location is ideal, the house is situated pretty much in the middle between Transalpine and Transfăgărășan so it is the perfect place to choose if you want to explore both of these iconic roads. It’s located on the hill so the view of the mountains is awesome. It’s the perfect place to just relax because of the quiet, peaceful surroundings, yet it’s still just a 15-minute drive to the nearest city and markets if you need anything. The inside of the house was just as impressive as the outside! The design is beautiful - raw wood furniture is really nice and it adds a cozy, rustic touch to everything. Both the bed and sofa were super comfortable. And the hammock chair? It was my personal favorite. I spent hours on it, just reading books and relaxing! While the house itself is remarkable, the experience was made even better by the host. We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful and attentive person! The owner was super, super nice, always ready to help, responding quick and making sure our stay was the best as it could be! He made sure we had everything we needed and recommended us a salt mine to visit - if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t know this place existed. He made the whole stay even better :) This place really exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!!
