The host Ulrika was really lovely, communication was very smooth and she answered her messages very quickly. We only stayed one night on the way between Stockholm and our next destination, but we really could have stayed another night! The room was super cosy, on a very nice farm. The bed was so comfortable! And we also really liked the very complete breakfast that was prepared for us. Overall a perfect first stop for our trip, and we would love to come back!

If you're still deciding where to stay in Trosa, stop looking! This beautiful cabin is in the middle of the woods, yet it is quite close from Trosa town centre by bike or car. The environment is spectacular and you'll only share it with the warming host family who live just across, and the local fauna :) We only stayed for one night (we were so sad to leave) and still were able to explore the beautiful surroundings by bike during sunset (provided for free by the hosts). We strongly recommend the ride, as we were able to spot deers, foxes, many rabbits and squirrels, etc. The cabin itself is beautifuly decorated and with an incredible attention to detail. It also applies to the separate bathroom/laundry cabin, which has more than everything you'll need. It even has Rituals ammenities and some crocks you can use to walk around the garden. We are still dreaming of our stay here ;)

Establecido a 3.3 km de Abergs Museum, Bålsta Studio Houses ofrece un jardín, y hospedaje climatizado con patio y WiFi gratis. We booked the accommodation outside of Stockholm, because it was on our way through the inland of Sweden. We did not expect to have such a great stay at Brenda‘s place, even though the pictures looked great and there were good reviews about the place. Arriving at the Studios we were welcomed warmly and instantly felt comfortable with this great couple that runs the place. The studio has a nice veranda, there is a pretty garden in the front. This accommodation had the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in vacation houses. I don’t think you’ll gonna miss anything for cooking, except if you really need an egg cutter. There is a stove, an oven and a microwave, a kettle and a capsule coffee machine. Everything seems really new and was super clean. We had the choice to sleep down in the room or up at the loft. It was really cozy at the loft on the mattresses, although they’re quite hard. We were really sad, that we could not book another night, as we already had other accommodations waiting for us. But we can definitely recommend to stay at least two nights. It is a cute little suburb, you get tips where you can take a walk and it is a really refreshing stay after visiting the busy Stockholm.
