It was one of our best accommodations in Thailand. We were very satisfied with our stay. Very nice and friendly owner and staff. The house is easy to find. Even though the house is close to the main road, we didn't hear any noise at night and slept very well. The house is very spacious, bright and stylish. The rooms are well maintained, sufficiently furnished and absolutely clean. The beds are large and comfortable, the bed linens and towels are perfectly clean. The air conditioning is in every room, works perfectly and quietly, the wifi is fast. The kitchen is very well equipped. We really appreciated that water, cola, coffee, tea, toast, jam, butter, eggs were available in the fridge and free of charge. All household appliances, including the washing machine, worked great. Clothes rack - drying rack is available outside. We asked for a higher chair and the owner immediately went to buy a new chair for us. Unbelievable willingness and helpfulness. We really appreciate it. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. We would love to come to this place again and stay for a week or longer. Thanks a lot for taking such good care of us. I highly recommend staying at W House Ranong villa !!!

Staying in the glamping tents was an incredible experience. I loved the contrast of the traditional palm leaf roof and the raised wooden platform tucked away in the greenery. It gives you that authentic connection to nature while still providing the comfort of a very clean private bathroom. It is exactly what I was looking for: that "old Thailand" vibe with huge, empty beaches just a 150-meter walk away, but with the modern amenities I actually need. The biggest surprise for me was the Wi-Fi. I work online and was honestly a bit worried about the connection on a quiet island with no cars, but it was excellent and super reliable. It was actually much better than the internet at the last few places I stayed. It made it so easy to jump on work calls and then immediately head over to the beautiful Yoga Shala or the relaxing pool area. The food is also a major highlight. Their Italian food and pizza are outstanding—easily some of the best I've had while traveling. I also really liked the eco-friendly touch of the free water dispenser and the fact that there’s a gym on-site, which is the only one I found on the island. I ended up extending my stay for two extra nights to soak in the atmosphere a bit longer, and the 10% discount for staying longer was a great touch. Highly recommended if you want to stay productive while feeling totally unplugged.

My stay at Gelathai was simply perfect! Host Philip and his lovely wife went above and beyond to make me feel completely at home – their warm and helpful nature truly makes a difference. You can tell they put a lot of passion and attention to detail into everything. The location is unbeatable – it’s easy to get anywhere quickly, whether it’s the beach, the city, or local attractions. Absolutely recommendable! Another highlight was the top laundry service available right in the house. Without any lie: i never had such a good and clean Laundry-Service 👍🏻 They also organised a TukTuk for my transport to the pier right on time. I can highly recommend this place to anyone, and I will definitely be back!

We don’t even know where to begin. From the very first moment we stepped into Kaori and Clay’s little paradise, we were completely enchanted by the peaceful beauty of this oasis they’ve created — a place that, for us, is the definition of pure relaxation and well-beeing. Kaori and Clay gave us the warmest welcome, together with their sweet dogs and cat, and we felt very comfortable right from the start. There are three spacious wooden bungalows, built by Clay, on the property, plus one where Kaori and Clay live themselves. The lovingly designed houses are surrounded by jungle and fruit trees, with plenty of space around each one, so everyone has their privacy guaranteed. It’s perfect for people seeking peace and quiet and for anyone who loves nature. We felt deeply relaxed within no time. On the lower level of the bungalow, there’s a large table, a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, and a bathroom under the open sky. A wooden staircase leads up to the upper level, where you’ll find a beautiful terrace and a cozy bedroom, complete with a fan and a mosquito net. In the mornings, you wake up to the sounds of the jungle and can watch the sunrise while spotting different birds — including the hornbill, which is typical for this region — and even a kind of squirrel. It’s simply a dream. Most mornings, we were greeted by the cuddly cat “Miaumiau,” and the very sweet, well-behaved dogs would sometimes come by as well to say hello. Whether you’re an animal lover or not, you simply can’t help but fall in love with them instantly. Clay spoiled us with the best bananas we’ve ever eaten, and Kaori’s granola is an absolute insider tip — it’s addictive! Being around Kaori and Clay was always super pleasant, relaxed, and uncomplicated. Since we could hardly bear the thought of leaving this unique and beautiful place, we already booked again for next year.
