The Baker Creek Mountain is 20 minutes’ drive from Yoho National Park. Banff is 34 km from the resort. Beautiful complex in a quiet location. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a woody cozy room with a jacuzzi inside. Everything was comfortable and clean. In the complex there are a few chairs and fire pits by the creek where you can sit, enjoy the views and make a fire. Be prepared to not have cellular phone service but the WiFi worked quite well. However the best thing to do is to relax and enjoy the views, it is a great nature experience. Be also prepared to manage your own food, as there is no restaurant on site, or to drive 15 min by car to Lake Louise Village. The price is expensive but all the places around Lake Louise area are and for me the experience was worth it. Great chances for bear and elk sighting in the area, therefore you need to be careful.

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel, we came back because of the comfort and location. Our room had a fabulous view of the mountains and was cozy and quiet. We arrived 4 hours early with the intention of just dropping off our bags but were allowed early check in as our room was ready for us. The airport shuttle bus to Calgary has a stop opposite in the sister hotel and everything else was a few minutes walk away. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the town center, and a great breakfast. We felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay.

To make it even more special, we got engaged during our stay, an unforgettable moment in an already perfect setting. We couldn’t have asked for a more romantic, peaceful, and memorable experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, comfort, and charm.

The lodge is located remote but within short commute of Canmore. While the road is unsealed (and in some areas in rough condition during our visit) t’s generally well kept and easy driving. Views on the way in, at the lodge, and waking up to are worth it! Packed lunch was awesome too!
