Lovely big comfortable beds with crisp white sheets. Loved the chunky rustic ‘log cabin’ feel of the place. Great bathroom with super shower and lovely deep, claw foot bath with plenty of hot water. Fire place in room was fab though got a bit smoky at times, as if it’s not drawing up through the chimney as well as it might. Views were great with lovely walks on your doorstep. Felt as if you were up in the mountains yet only 10 minutes bus ride (or very pleasant 30 minute walk) into town. Hotel staff were very amenable, bar/restaurant had a very relaxed feel and the mussels we had on the last night were superb!

Our room was really spacious and the bed was enormous and super comfortable. Loved the fire place! Had a nice little balcony overlooking the mountains. The huge communal hot tub was a nice end to a day of hiking. Being slightly outside the centre of Banff it was really quiet at night. The food at The Prow restaurant was really good and the restaurant staff were all really friendly and helpful.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy. I only see non refundable on the site. With COVID it is difficult to be sure we are going at this time. There is talk of closing the Alberta border. We live in northwestern Ontario.
    Good Morning, The standard policy through Third parties is non-refundable. However directly we have a fourteen day cancellation policy with no deposit

  • Hi what does it mean by breakfast is not available? Would we be able to buy breakfast on arrival?
    You may dine in the restaurant for breakfast and pay directly to your waiter, however it cannot be added to your room booking in advance.
