What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff at the reception. The ladies were so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their friendliness and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Clean, good space, good supplies, great location, comfortable, nicely decorated, felt like home, great for families, unique, fairly secluded, and host gave good instructions.

The spacious chalet features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a terrace with mountain views. A private entrance leads guests into the chalet, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and chocolates or cookies. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Ski storage space is available on-site and both skiing and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the chalet. It is an amazing place. The accommodation has EVERYTHING you need. From oils and herbs for meals; teas and filled coffee machine: dishwasher tablets, hair-dryers and charger cables and adaptors. She had thought of everything! After coming from camping near Venice, this was a 5 Star hotel!!! Worth every Frank. We have a VW Caddimaxi and made it up the steep drive....not a problem! We are travelling with family visiting from Australia. After arriving at this amazing location and house, we just had to finish the experience with a Swiss Cheese Fondue, which complimented the delicious red wine and chocolates that we were gifted on arrival.

The Alpenhotel Schlüssel enjoys a central location, a 5-minute walk from the Andermatt Train Station and the Gemsstock ski lifts. It offers free Wi-Fi in the rooms and public areas, free parking and rooms with balconies. The location, in a middle of everything, so close to everything. The coop supermarket is in the same building, so you can buy stuffs wearing t shirts! Thomas, the owner, he’s so nice! The room is super spacious and what a view! And you can park (and charge your car if you need) in a garage, so you don’t have to worries about the snow in your car, only be grateful for big amounts of snow! We’ll definitely comeback to Alpenhotel! And I can’t forget to mention, breakfast is really great, delicious…

Super friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, a ski pass sales point and ski storage space are also available on-site. Clean and spacious. There is a nice hike nearby to watermill and creek. We travelled with a newborn and the owner provided us with a cot.
