The young woman welcoming us and cooking our breakfast was very friendly and it was nice chatting to her and the other guests in the kitchen. The B&B was a short walk away from several restaurants in the very small town.

Ski storage space is available on-site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of Ylläshuiput Chalet Apartment. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sauna was lovely after a long day on the hill. There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

Hiking is possible within the area and the apartment offers ski storage space. Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Kittilä Airport is 50 km away. Fabulous hosts and a very cosy lodge, nicely decorated and with comfortable bed and nice outlook from the verandah

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. We had an absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was spotless, very cosy, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt at home right away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Guests have access to the excellent Ylläs ski slopes and a variety of hiking trails through the peaceful Lappish wilderness. We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The property is beautiful, food is tasty, rooms are comfortable, and the saunas are really nice. Staff are friendly and happy to help you plan your stay.
