We had one of the family rooms which had a double bed and a single bed on the ground floor, and two-single beds in an alcove at the end of a long ladder. The beds were really comfortable and I especially liked the large window which let in a lot of light. The staff was always just a phone call away – we arrived late and had to pick up a key card from a secret location. The kitchen is in a common area with a very long table and some comfy-looking sofas. The guest house has a superb location, in the middle of the small town of Zirc with just a few-minute walk away from many restaurants, the arboretum, and the abbey. It's at the gate of the mountainous range of Bakony, so we could drive or take the train to trailheads easily. We had a wonderful time!
