Everything was so beautiful and well thought out. The entire experience was so peaceful and relaxing. The attention to detail was obvious. The food was so delicious and the amenities were stunning and well maintained.

Set in San Leonardo in Passiria, 30 km from Gunpowder Tower - Polveriera, Gasthof Innerwalten offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I had a lovely stay at the Innerwalten. The staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean, very cozy and familiar hotel. I also enjoyed breakfast, very complete with local products, and dinner. The location is a 12min drive from San Leonard. I found it very peaceful and in general, it exceeded my expectations.

Featuring garden views, LaMonte Premium Apartments by Feuerstein provides accommodation with a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre and a garden, around 40 km from Novacella Abbey. This is an absolutely beautiful little boutique apartment with every comfort available. It's in the middle of the mountains with loads of meadows and rivers. Very contemporary and comfortable interior with loads of extras. Lots of fun stuff to do for kids including playground, playroom, pool, sauna for adults. Really enjoyed it here.

Less than 100 metres from the Rosskopf ski slope, Steindl's B&B is a 5-minute walk from Vipiteno town centre. It boasts rooms with Sterzing Mountain and town views, and a buffet breakfast. Right in the middle of the Alps, next to the cable car, the stay at Steindl hotel was incredible. All the staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are cozy and immersed in nature. The location is perfectly situated not far from Brenner highway, yet in the center of Vipiteno/Sterzing, but in a quiet location that faces greenery everywhere. The breakfast is a true delight to start your day with, I mostly appreciated the variety of fresh fruits, but everything else was delicious, and I would say exquisite, is rather a brunch than a breakfast, with local products (the honey was from another world). The rooms were very clean, we staid 2 times and every time we had a room that exited to the garden, which was particularly appreciated by my 3 years old son. Some of the rooms have a kitchenette. The hotel has very nice touches, and there is possibility to park in the garage for a small fee per night. Definitely a destination I will come back to.

Situated in Fleres, 43 km from Novacella Abbey, Hotel Argentum by Bergkristall features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a bar and ski-to-door access. The hotel has family rooms. The hotel is in a great position with a view of mountain peaks, springs, meadows, and woods. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh croissants and homemade cakes. The staff was very friendly, dogs are welcome, and the rooms are very spacious with modern furniture and great bathrooms.

Set in Chienes, 20 km from Novacella Abbey, Bonfanti Design Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Everything! We had a wonderful get away. Location, staff, view, breakfast all was beyond great. Nothing to complain about and definitely recommended.

A mediaeval building overlooking River Isarco in the centre of Chiusa, family-run Walther von der Vogelweide offers alpine-style rooms and a restaurant with vaulted ceilings. Easily the best breakfast I had in Italy this trip.

Monte Pana Dolomites Hotel offers rooms with mountain and garden views. It includes a restaurant and mini golf pitch. Amazing hotel, on top of Santa Christina. The views are amazing, overlooking the mountains of Sassolungo and Sassopiato from one side and Val Gardena on the other. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and welcoming and the breakfast is amazing and features even gluten free delicious food. The spa facilities are exquisite, both outside and inside. The hotel features a big pool, outdoor jacuzzis with amazing views overlooking the mountains, sauna, steam bath, cold plunge, massages and many more. Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed in the area and super value for money. I would normally pay double the price in other hotels offer the same facilities in the area. Definitely coming back!
