The hosts are extremely good and I am out of words to describe how welcoming they are. They took care of every small thing we needed and beyond that. They guided us through all the necessary details of the town, gave us a short tour of the town and also dropped and picked us up from the ski resort. The entire property has floor heating and was so clean, comfortable and cozy. I am really thankful to them for all the efforts they have made to make our trip a memorable one.

He took really great care of us. He ran my gloves and googles back to me at Gala when i forgot them in his vehicle (yes, he shuttled us around). Even after we had left his care and went to the train station, he came back and picked me up because my son left his phone at the snowboarding resort. He even got me back in time for the shinkansen. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience compelled me to. Don't hesitate, this was an awesome boutique hotel experience. He even had all of the snow boarding equipment for us to rent so we didnt have to stand in the Gala yuzawa line. Don't hesitate, book now!!! Aloha

Το προσωπικό πολύ συμπαθητικό αλλά δεν μιλάει κανένας αγγλικά, μπορεί να επικοινωνήσεις μαζί τους μέσω εφαρμογής chat. Από την μία αυτό δίνει μία περισσότερο αυθεντική αίσθηση, από την άλλη ορισμένους πελάτες μπορεί να τους προβληματίσει. Η Χώρα του Χιονιού είναι πολύ γοητευτική.

Το Yuzawa Grand Hotel απέχει 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό Echigo Yuzawa και το Μουσείο Sake. Προσφέρει 3 δημόσια λουτρά, υπηρεσία μασάζ και δωρεάν χώρο στάθμευσης στις... The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and exceptional. All of the dishes I tried I liked , and they had a nice variety of western and Japanese. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent, and very well kept. We are skiers and this hotel was very well setup for skiers. They have locker rooms for storage as well as changing, and on checkout day you can leave all your luggage , go ski, come back and change and then leave. But what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. I speak limited Japanese but had no issues communicating with the staff either speaking directly to them or using google translate. They are kind, patient and will do anything to help you. On checkout day, we went skiing and came back at 11:30 and needed to use the courier service taqubin which is conveniently located inside the hotel gift shop. However, we failed to notice beforehand that the shop takes a close break from 11:30 until 3:30 and our train leaves at 3;15. We were very stressed but the lady who runs the store and handles the courier said no problem, she would stay open just for us and give us time to change out of our ski clothes ,repack our ski gear and come back. It took us longer than we thought to repack and change because we had some trouble locating the ski bag as it was behind the counter in long storage. It didn’t matter, she still waited and when we finally finished she patiently helped us with the forms and everything was handled . When we left again for the station we had some time to wait so we purchased some small sweets and went back to give them to the staff as a thank you for all their exceptional efforts and help with our stay . They seemed genuinely surprised and happy and then walked out to wave us goodbye! How nice and a great happy surprise for us! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will be back someday.
