Lovely new house! Room was huge and we could use the kitchen and living room downstairs. The host came to pick me up at the train station and offered to drive me back next morning, and also presented a gift of a bottle of sake. Very satisfied!

We were very pleased with the fantastic location at walking distance from Ishiuchi Maruyama and all the facilities, including the affordable ski equipment rental, the huge drying room, a yummy breakfast and the warm welcome by our host. The free shuttle service from Echigo-Yuzawa station is a plus!

El Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan ofrece terraza y baño de aguas termales y se encuentra en Minami Uonuma, a 2 km de la estación de esquí Maiko Snow Resort. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. Truly one of the most wonderful inns I’ve stayed at in all of my times in Japan! The place is immaculate and feels lovely and new while also having a wonderful 「懐かしい」 vibe to it. From the very start all of the staff were kind and considerate and showed us all the ropes! I adored that the entry into the rooms is all keyless—there’s touch keypads on the doors! We tried all three baths since we reserved the wonderful private rooftop bath. As an FYI for anyone unaccustomed to such a thing, the rooms themselves do not have showers—you’re meant to use the bath areas for your cleaning, so if you’re uncomfortable with the onsen experience in Japan just be aware! You totally should get over your anxieties and use the bath though—they’re relaxing and luxuriant! We had one dinner with them and two breakfasts, and all of the food was absolutely delightful! The breakfast was buffet style and full of local/seasonal ingredients, and the dinner was course after course and we were very very well fed. All in all, I can’t say enough wonderful things. We adored our stay!

El Yuzawa Grand Hotel se encuentra a 2 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Echigo Yuzawa y del Museo del sake. Ofrece 3 baños públicos, servicio de masajes y aparcamiento gratuito. This hotel has the best location , walkable from echigo station, and close proximity to many restaurants and nearby ski slopes. Hotel breakfast was good , wide spread. We tried their dinner buffet, it was very good too though little over priced. The best part was the onsen, loved the outdoor onsen in the snow, wasn’t too crowded. Morning was empty.

El Shosenkaku Kagetsu está situado a solo 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tren JR de Echigo Yuzawa y dispone de alojamiento de estilo japonés y 10 baños termales de diseño exclusivo. El hotel es excepcional. Nosotros nos fuimos de una escapada de Tokyo para ir a esquiar y queríamos tener la experiencia de un hospedaje muy al estilo japonés. El hotel supero nuestras expectativas. Desde que nos recibieron, el personal es muy amable y servicial, tienen dulces japoneses y bebidas gratuitas disponibles en la recepción, incluyendo Sake. La habitación era supremamente espaciosa, un apartamento completo con dos baños, dos cuartos, salón de té, algo muy raro en Japón donde todos los hospedajes son diminutos. Tienen servicio de Onsen gratuito y tienen uno al aire libre espectacular. También tiene la opción de uno privado por un valor adicional. Lamentamos mucho habernos quedado solo una noche en este hotel, lo repetiría mil veces.

El Kogakuro se encuentra en un entorno tranquilo y ofrece habitaciones agradables de estilo japonés con mucha luz natural. Excellent experience, wonderful service.

Guest house SENWA, que se encuentra a 2 km de Estación de esquí Gala Yuzawa y a 22 km de Estación de esquí de Naeba, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño compartido en Yuzawa. Amazingly friendly staff, Naoto was very accommodating, excellent clean facilities, and comfortable bed. The Ofuro was particularly good. Will definately be staying again.
