We are from the US and loved the cultural experience. The onsen was amazing, and so was the meals! Loved breakfast and dinner. Above and beyond!! Tatami mat bedroom also loved.

This family run ryokan is great value for money and the hosts go above and beyond for their guests! We had an amazing weekend, attending Fuji Rock festival in the vicinity with the hotel offering us free shuttle service to and from the nearest train station and tips about the surrounding area.

Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan ligger i Minami Uonuma, 2 km från Maiko Snow Resort. Här erbjuds en terrass och en varm källa. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. I don't know where to start.The in house onsen, the hospitality, the futon and tatami style, the food, the amenities, the shuttle to the ski resorts, the station and restaurants , and most importantly the people!

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. Yuzawa Grand hotel gave us the best Japan cultural immersion experience. Our room had both the western style bed but with Japanese tatamis and spare futons. This has been the highlight of our Japan trip as we experienced eating oranges in a low Japanese table, sleep in futons, experience the amazing Onsens Hot springs both indoor and outdoor. The hotel is very engaging, clean, accommodating-- i cannot praise it enough. It is also in this hotel that we tried sukiyaki for the first time and many amazing dishes and seafood in both their breakfast and dinner offers. We would really love to visit again in a few years time hopefully:)

Shosenkaku Kagetsu har 10 unikt designade varma källbad och erbjuder boende i japansk stil, bara 5 minuters promenad från tågstationen JR Echigo Yuzawa. The facilities are great! It’s just a few minutes walk from the station, the staff is super attentive, the food is delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Totally worth it!

Kogakuro ligger i ett fridfullt landskap och erbjuder trevliga rum i japansk stil med gott om dagsljus. Great location, indoor/outdoor Onsen, amazing staff and incredible breakfast!
