The staff was very nice and we had very interesting conversations. They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. It has both an indoor and outdoor bath as well as private baths available to rent. The food was amazing and they were easily able to accommodate my sisters dietary requirements. We went with the Japanese style beds with futons and they were very comfortable. It was a perfect stop on the way to Fuji after Hakuba and very close to the snow monkeys, you could easily walk from the hotel.

Shiga Kogen Lodge cuenta con vista a la montaña, WiFi gratis, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, y está ubicado en Yamanouchi, a 20 km de Jigokudani Monkey Park. The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

El Tawaraya, situado a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Yudanaka, ofrece alojamiento de estilo japonés con WiFi gratuito y TV de pantalla plana. El lugar es precioso y está bien cuidado. Lo que más nos gustó fue poder disfrutar del Onsen exterior en pareja, toda una experiencia! El personal es muy amable, los futones cómodos. Todo estuvo genial.

Situado en Yamanouchi, a 13 km de Ryuoo Ski Park, Minshuku Miyama dispone de vistas a la montaña. Un lugar genial, había un onsen y la comida muy tradicional y rica

El Daymaruya Ryokan dispone de baños de aguas termales y alojamientos tradicionales de estilo japonés con conexión gratuita a internet por cable. Excelente lugar y excelentes anfitriones, sus onsen son muy cómodos. Las duchas con lo necesario y las habitaciones cómodas.

Shibu Hotel, featuring traditional course meals using Shinshu beef, private hot springs, and shared open-air and indoor baths, is an 8-minute ride from Yudanaka Station via free shuttle bus. I really liked the athmosphere of it. It felt like traditional Japan. We had half board that allowed us to try japanese food beyond what we would dare to order in a restaurant. The staff was exceptional!
