Very pretty location, excellent view of the sun rising over the mountains. Town is nice, easy to walk around. Room was cozy and clean. Host is friendly and kind.

The owners were very kind and even though they don't speak english we were able to communicate by using their interpreter device. The accommodation was very clean and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. They also gave us info on what to do in the area.

The hospitality was top-notch. The host was super earnest and really took the effort to make us feel comfortable and totally at home. We were wowed by such warm hospitality. We also enjoyed the food and clean family baths.

Great location just across the kawaguchiko station, seamless check in, perfect place to get mt fuji view! Literally woke up with a breathtaking view from our window and balcony 😍😍 not to mention the bed, we love it, it has a warmer and the material really comfy, my baby slept peacefully.

One of the best places i´ve stayed in my one month trip in Japan. The view of the Mount Fuji from the room and from the private onsen were breathtaking. I stayed in a traditional style room and it was so great! They can accomodate the menu if you ask for it as vegan. The breakfast was delicious. The onsen is amazing. I went without a car and the staff pick me up from the station and drove me also to the closest bus stops without problem. The staff was great and helpfull.

We had the best time. We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. The surroundings is so peaceful.

Host was very responsive to messages. I was a little worried at first about the amount of space available based off the photos but it was perfectly fine and comfortable for 2 people. I also really love the "storage container" aesthetic - thought it was very cool. The space inside was also clean. I would definitely book again if I come back to this area in Japan.

Located in Hokuto, 45 km from Kamisuwa Station, Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The breakfast although I selected the Western style option it was more a Japanese breakfast than western and therefore my kids didn't enjoy much. It was delicious, but not much western style.
