Anna, our host, was via the Booking.com Message very helpful reliable and friendly. Also her eye for details was amazing. We were 3 guests, an she had organised fresh fruit (3 bananas & 3 apples), 3 bottles of water and 3 Somersby Cider, fresh eggs (6) from her own hens for breakfast, fresh loaf of bread and, we arrived at 16:00, fresh danish for the coffee 😃 The parking is infront of the house and the key box is easy to find. 5 Minutes by car (30 minute walk) to Mora center and 10 minutes by car to Nusnäs (Dalahästar). Great location. We will for sure be back.

The house has been renovated with a very good sense of style and is comfortable with the feeling of 100 years ago, many beautiful little details that make you feel like you are in someone's hospitable home. We visited the Carl and Karin Larsson, Anders Zorn and Elsa Beskow museums on our trip, so our accommodation was perfect. The house is spacious and clean. Feel like you're visiting a lovely old aunt. The kitchen had plenty of kitchen equipment and the dining room was so comfortable that we gave up going to a restaurant and cooked dinner at home.

Set in Mora and only 42 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre, Mormors vrå offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very cosy in a quite neighbourhood close to Siljan. A mere 30 minute walk in to the city centre. Host was very nice and accommodating. The little “grannyflat” was small but had all the as amenities you could wish for. And parking up front.

Pleasant communication with the owner who was very helpful with giving information about the location and all kinds of activities. The location is gorgeous and very calm, in the middle of a forest. The closest supermarket was a short drive (a few minutes). The cabin was cute and comfortable, clean and clearly well taken care of. Check-in and check-out was possible at flexible times without direct contact. I felt very much at home at the end of a long trip.

Boasting a sauna, Tomtelandstugan is situated in Mora. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The Stugan is close to Tomteland and the local hill with a ski area, that is closed for unknown time. We were there in February, when Tomteland is closed, with almost no other tourists around. It was very quiet an beautiful with all the snow. We went sledging, hiking in the snow and on the lake, and crosscountry skiing. The house is cosy and comfortable. Heating works fine. You should know that there is only one separate sleeping Room, with a double bed. The other beds (double and bunk bed) are upstairs in two rooms that are only separated from the living room with a curtain. Siv has been very nice giving us Information and keys for the house. She lives 5 min from the house by car. Without a car, we could not have reached the house or anything. The next supermarket is 15 min away by car, or you can drive 20 min to Mora, where you can get everything. In Mora, you can borrow winter sport equipment in Fritidsbanken, which is great! There is a sauna in a separate building next to the house, but we did not use it. We had a wonderful time in this quiet place with absolutely stunning landscapes. This is just what we wanted. It will be different in summer, when there is more activity in the area.

Located in Mora, in a historic building, 47 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre, Stallet - Hemma hos Mait is a holiday home with free bikes and garden. Loved the renovation of an old barn to a self -contained apartment. Great facilities with the kitchen, fridge and washing machine. We also loved the linens. The number of beds was perfect and it was a great base from which to explore Mora and celebrate midsommar in Dalarna.
