All personnel in the hotel were amazing specially Elena (restaurants mgr.) and Marine (front desk) who helped us solving a problem with the reservation. The customer service at this hotel is outstanding!!! All the premises were in mint condition and the pools, spa and gym were free and very well maintained. We had an amazing time and we will come back for sure!!

It is our second visit in a few months. Friendly staff at the reception and room. Loved the hotel delicious meals, had both dinner and breakfast, with healthy food. Had a very clean and spacious room, with crispy clean beds. I also absolutely loved our jakuzzi experience - very clean and relaxing. Overall, Alpina is a very family place.

In its architecture, history, and enduring internal culture, the Writers’ Hotel in Tsaghkadzor is a real hidden treasure. You can see the rooms where great 20th century authors, including Hrant Matevossian and Silva Kaputikyan, lived and worked. The hotel is frequented by active Armenian writers as well, which led to some interesting meetings and conversations. The hallways and lobbies are full of paintings, sculptures, and murals, and among many other amenities and curiosities there is a well-stocked Armenian and Russian library. The staff, from the director, to the front desk, to the room service, were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly, which contributed a lot to making my visit a pleasant one. The room, bed, shower, and so on, were clean and comfortable and the internet was stable enough for me to take work calls. The hotel is within convenient walking distance of the 11th-century monastery of Kecharis and the main streets of the town, with restaurants and stores. I would recommend the Writers’ Hotel to anyone as the best value for a stay in Tsaghkadzor, but if you have an interest in Armenian or Soviet literature and culture it is simply unmissable.

Exceeded our expectations: luxurious hotel for a very reasonable price. There is a ski trail directly from the hotel to ropelines, but it is only for experienced people (the trail is actually of black, not blue type). We really enjoyed swimming pool, saunas and live music in the evenings. The only minor drawback is that the meat and the fish we ordered in the restaurant were overcooked.
