The location is great, just 5 minutes walking from the train station and 2 minutes from the town center, surrounded by mountains. Well connected to nearby Semmering ski region (train-bus or bus-bus) and Gloggnitz (train or bus) and many more nice hiking/natural park regions. It is very peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The room had an additional small room where our daughter could sleep (not expected and a bonus :)). Beds were very comfy. Room was kept warm whole day and night, which was important for us as during the night the temperatures outside were -10 Celsius degrees. The furniture was not the newest, but well maintained and I liked the style a lot. The breakfast was nice and in general it is great that there is a restaurant where you can also have lunch and dinner. There is even a nice small spa area. Dog friendly place. Perfect for couples and elderly.

The staff was very nice, hospitable and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy. The wellness area was simple, but cozy and perfectly suited its purpose.

The Schneeberghof lies located in the middle of a romantic landscape at the foot of the Schneeberg mountain and offers a wellness area, free WiFi and several indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

I really liked it here - good distance from the slopes, cute clean accommodation and very friendly staff and good breakfast. the only “odd” thing was amount of stairs this place has and since we had rooms on the very top there is no normal window only roof one which doesn’t provide as much sun light as normal windows. but overall I would totally come back again as the price, location and everything was great. the two odd things I wanted to mention :)
