Located near Orange Hospital it is a short drive into the main part of Orange. There is a great restaurant onsite which has very good food and there is breakfast with lots of choices. The bed is very comfortable too. Nice touches like bowls of apples to help yourself. There is a gym too but we didn’t use that. The staff are very friendly and sorted a small problem efficiently and promptly. Will make this our place to stay in Orange in the future.

It's an old pub so don't expect luxury but the rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable and it was generally quiet. There is a bistro downstairs for meals (but no breakfast) and a lounge area to sit in near a fire. On the whole it was perfect for a solo traveller for a one night stay. Easy walking distance from the railway station and the art gallery.
