An unbelievable array of local cheeses, meats, etc. Clearly this couple LOVE to host. The location is close to town—easily walkable, yet you're close to walking trails and fields. I was particularly impressed by the spa facilities, which included a Finnish sauna and steam bath. Additionally, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The room itself was spacious, and both the room and bathroom were impeccably clean.

It's opened in 1993 - most facilities are dated but are in good working order. We appreciated our spacey, comfortable and well-furnished suite composed of two bedrooms. Our kids appreciated having the extra space to themselves and so did we. The swimming pool (at room temperature) and sauna were nice extras. Excellent, rich breakfast buffet - highly recommended.
