I stayed only one glorious day and night at the world class BenBen resort and Spa on Hissa Island and would have lingered much longer had time allowed. From reservations (Thank you Dhara and Nardeen) and arrival, via a water shuttle, available 24:7 (call to reserve for your departure from the “Port”, ) through departure , attention was paid to every detail. A golf cart took us and our luggage up the rope lighted, arbored hill to reception where we were greeted before sunrise with fresh pomegranate juice and a cool moist cotton cloth to cool our brow and neck. We met friends already staying there and watched the sunrise over the Nile and and Phillae Temple. Al fresco breakfast, included with the room was fresh, delicious and served with a smile. Mustaffa, the food and beverage manager was always available to translate to English assuring our orders were correct. My suite was magnificent, with superior views of the Nile and the Infinity pool from every room, including the shower and spacious private patio yet with perfect privacy. The spacious high ceiling entry/sitting room with couch and beautiful rugs, art lighted nooks throughout, felt at once like a palace, and the coziness of home. An In-room jacuzzi makes a perfect setting for couples, although not hot during this season. The meditation area at the lookout with pillowed sitting bench and granite boulder pinnacle offered fantastic views and located on an earth energy grid directly connected to Phillae Temple. I highly recommend the locally specific massages beautifully given by delightful Zeinab,: a Nile mud massage and an Herbal “Stamp massage”— which was quite hot, yet ultimately relaxing for the spine and chakras. Every one of the staff was gracious, accommodating and cheerful, an obvious reflection of the manager, Mr. Fekry, whose desire to make your stay a memorable experience. Indeed it was.

Beautiful compeltely handmade property...was a wow. The staff was lovely, everyone felt very friendly and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend this unique and wonderful stay! And a cool ATV ride to get into the most amazing Nubian Village Market about 5-10 minutes a way. the ride was complimentary : )

The property is fantastic. The location and the inside are beautiful and the service is great. The rooms are nicely maintained.

The Zen Wellness Resort was an incredible experience and relaxation journey. I felt at home, safe and comfortable in the environment around me and thought that both the interior, views and products, such as the massages and the pools were exceptional. There are far too many people to thank, so this is a huge shout-out to everyone that made my stay so wonderful.

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent overlooking the pool and river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to commend the Mr. Aref and Mr. Mohamed.

Everything was perfect! A stunning setting, design & decor, one of the best hotel breakfasts of my life, gorgeous quiet comfortable huge room and every single staff person was so warm, helpful, caring & real. I slept so well every night here!

Everything about the cruise ship was great - facilities, staff, service, rooms, food etc
