The best peaceful and calm place with the best service, staff and breathtaking view where you forget about everything! And if you want to spend time quietly on the beach with cleanest Ganga- this is the best place to do it! This was so nice that every evening housekeeping brought fresh masks for the face made out of natural ingredients! There is a shop in the hotel with such beautiful dressed, clothes, jewellery! I really want to thank Ram at the reception as he assisted me with all my requests being very attentive!

We enjoyed a delightful stay at Kinwani house. Our first floor suite was spacious and comfortable with every comfort we expected in a style apposite to the house's own art deco chic, a fantastic view down to the garden full of flowers and birds and on to Rishikesh. The extensive menu, delicious food and choice of where to dine (we mostly chose the lawn) made every meal a pleasure. Kinwani house is a wonderful place to relax, whether that is exploring the local area, using the pool and yoga facilities or simply breathing in the mountain air on one of the terraces. The small size means you feel quite at home, even if you're the only guests. Gopal and his team provided seamless but inobstrusive service. We would love to return.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. One of my favourite stays in India. It was also very quiet, so I slept like a baby. The hotel is a great choice if you want to experience Ayurvedic treatments at a reasonable price in a clean, comfortable and quiet place. They have a whole wide range of treatments which can be arranged on the day. I also had one to one yoga lessons with a private instructor most mornings on the rooftop. Perfect for early mornings and no need to travel.

This was a revisit after a couple of years.The greatly improved walking path was a pleasure to tread on as it was just the right amount of invigorating exertion! The village women still happily helped transport our baggage after receiving us at the gate with the traditional Tilak! We loved our tent set up with bio toilet in the forest grove on a slate floor, overlooking the pristine Mother Ganga a stones throw away with a privately accessed silver sands beach! The food was traditional as well as European and kashmiri and tandoori BBQ Just mouthwatering ! The drift wood log fire, guitarist coroner Dorjee and the yoga and Ayurveda dietician were great add ons. We checked out all the cottages and were impressed with their turn out and have decided to book one of these for our next visit! The night calls of the barking deer and sawing (mating call)of the leopard , as well as loud grunt of the wild boar were so thrilling! We even saw a sounder of wildboar dash across the Spashram perimeter at breakfast! The birds were amazing including the Indian Tree Pie, Paradise flycatcher , golden backed woodpecker ,and cormorants on the rock mid river..The Butterflies too were great to see and befitting the name.. Thank you Spashram and Spashram Staff!
