I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Dinner was truly fabulous, with a delightful menu that exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was more standardized, but still enjoyable. The onsen facilities were a highlight—clean, spacious, and very relaxing. My room offered a stunning panoramic view of the mountains and the hotel pool, and it was immaculate throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone (with or without kids) looking for a relaxing retreat.

I loved our room. Our hot bath was amazing and consistently stayed hot throughout the stay. Our room was very spacious. They provided us with all the necessities, yukatas to wear during dinner and pajamas. The massage chair in the room was a plus. I loved the location! If you just walk to the left of the hotel, you will reach a stairwell that leads directly to the arima onsen town area! Easy to walk around town. The staff were excellent and spoke English very well. It was easy to communicate with them.

Fabulous location - walking distance to Mosaic, Meriden Park, atoa, museums, and both Motomachi and Sannomiya stations and shopping districts! The room, the view, the quality of the food were all excellent. I also enjoy their spa, plus they have renovated the passage way to the annex and have now a sauna and a snack bar open rather late.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on business trips 25 years ago. I was expecting the building and rooms to feel old and worn but I was pleasantly surprised to find a vibrant, busy and updated property giving great service and superb value. They have successfully recast this property as a destination with an authentic onsen using piped in water from nearby Mt Rokko which has proven very popular with Japanese families and visitors seeking a nice getaway with great onsen facilities in a western style hotel with rooms larger that you would find elsewhere. The vibe is pleasant and focuses on tranquility and rest. So happy to see that this property continues to thrive 25 years on. Stayed 2 nights, wish I had time to stay longer. Will definitely return!
