The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the host family. I usually stay in hotels and this was a very different, nice experience. Meal prices were surprisingly low and the lady of the house who cooked for us was flexible enough to provide our requested choice of meats which is rare in local homes who normally provide only chicken and fish. We stayed two days here .we had more information and a popular tourist destination arrived. Mr sameera is the best person we met .he told us about the tour plan. He is also doing a hidden nature tour haputale and we travel with him. He is a very knowledgeable and very good local guide . The room was very clean and I think the best view in Haputale is here. Night time breathtaking views and the most beautiful seanary is the train moving . You can see the main city in front of the room. Service and hospitality is best here.. I really recommend it here . Try to visit again. I hope to stay in another beautiful room ( still not built)

Truly the staff is the highlight of this beautiful property. The restaurant service, the housekeeping, everyone is lovely and top notch. I love the room, this is the 5th or more time I've stayed here over the years and it keeps its quality, the rooms are beautiful, the views are absolutely incredible and again, the staff is the best!

The photos do not do this justice. The place is stunning and the views are incredible. The host was so attentive! The breakfast was incredible and I cannot describe the views from the beautiful room. The place is clean, beautiful and safe. We promptly booked two more nights. Highly recommend!

The staff at Luxor were the highlight of our stay! They attended to our every need (and there were many as we were travelling with a fussy 18 month old!) with communication with the manager and staff very easy. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. With an infinity pool infront of our family room we were able to enjoy a nice swim over looking the beautiful valley. I highly recommend hotel Luxor and will certainly visit again :)

The rooms are clean & spacious. Friendly staff with great service. There was not a huge spread of food but the food was delicious. Walking distance of Bandarawela town. Highly recommended.

The accommodation and staff were exceptional. We loved the cooking class and the food was amazing. The staff also helped us immensely when we needed to take our son for medical attention. The only thing that was a bit misleading was they told us that they provide a tuk tuk for the local area. We assumed it was included… we assumed wrong and were charged a lot in addition. This was certainly not a deal breaker though - we loved it here. 11/10
