The staff was excellent, and the lobby area was beautiful. Room was wonderful and comfortable. Breakfast was so amazing that I now order the tea that you served at breakfast because it was so wonderful. The bar tenders were amazing, and the breakfast staff were wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Strandhotel am Weissensee is situated in the village of Neusach on the shore of Lake Weissensee, Austria's most elevated swimming lake. Weissensee has always - now for almost 20 years - been one of my favorite places to be. Strandhotel only adds to the whole experience. The entire staff is kind, attentive, and always willing to help or advise. The room (112 in my case) was spacious, impeccably clean, and designed in a modern alpine style; comfortable and offering a wonderful view of the lake. The food is not just food - it’s a story, a carefully thought-out concept. Everything is vegetarian or vegan AND organic (!), and if you think that means limited choices, you would be very wrong. Honestly, it’s probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The dinners are in a class of their own: creative, light, nutritionally rich, and full of diverse flavors. The spa center is another top-level highlight, with astonishing views from every angle; clean, spacious, and right on the lake. The gym is also among the best hotel gyms I’ve ever seen. I’ve stayed in many great hotels, but this one truly stands out as something special. I will definitely be coming back. While it may not seem inexpensive at first, you realize on the very first day that you are getting far more than what you pay for.

Situated directly at Lake Millstatt, Hotel Postillion am See features a large sunbathing lawn, a sun terrace, free WiFi, and free parking on site. I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, pleasant, and always ready to assist. The food was also outstanding. This was a very important week for me, and the experience exceeded all my expectations.
