We had amazing view to beautiful wineyards. For breakfast you can taste many products from local farms: cheese, ham, eggs, juices, marmelades... On the walls of the hotel there is so many art pieces - which you can also buy. We enjoyed walks - to the castle and visiting family wineries. Hotel has perfect sauna - with amazing view. Hotel staff was great and very kind. We would love to visit again and we can't recommend this place enough!

This hotel is absolutely amazing and we will definitely visit again. Beautiful location!

Located around 10 km from Castle Kapfenberg, the hotel is also 17 km away from Hochschwab. The accommodation offers a sauna, hammam, restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms are very nicely prepared - we had a two-story room with a spacious bathroom incl whirlpool. Eating at the Roanwirt is also really nice (typical Austrian cuisine). The sauna area is not the biggest, but it was never crowded. The staff are tremendously forthcoming and friendly. In the area, you can hike up to Pogusch and have amazing views of the mountains.
