Great and courteous staff, modern facilities (would never have believed that the hotel is almost 11 years old) and most of all our dog loved it. It's not always easy to please our Austin. The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.
