Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

Great location with a 180 degree view of the beach and mountains. The natural swimming pool was fantastic after a swim in the ocean . The aircon was great and hot showers with heaps of pressure . Friendly staff and fresh breakfast .

Pousada Do Ouro is a pleasant 18th century house in the historical region of Paraty. Just a 10-minute walk from Pontal Beach. The hotel is absolutely stunning! The attention to detail is perfect and it’s such a perfect oasis away from the town (which is equally as beautiful). The staff at this hotel go far and beyond to make your experience perfect and they always had a smile on their faces and always happy to help. The bed and sheets were so comfortable, I never slept better. I was so sad to leave
