The room we booked was extremely comfortable and the views were just incredible. Everything was up to perfection. Staff is very helpful and positive. The food and service at the restaurant and the bar were to the top level, very tasty, friendly service, fast preparation of food, etc. Prices though are quite expensive. The design of the hotel is great. Spa and other activities are also great. Although we ended up staying a couple nights here, we would have stayed much longer if we could.

Owner’s dogs are very friendly too on entry to the front yard. Bedding, towels, tea, coffee and toiletries were in the apartment. Punta Arenas is a great city, having European and American influences. There are plenty of places to shop, including duty free shops in the shopping malls. I was visiting family but I felt safe walking around on my own. The people are friendly in cafes, restaurants and shops with some staff speaking limited English.

The hotel is an exceptional building in a unique location: the views from our room and dining room took our breath away. The guided treks and walks were interesting and we saw so many amazing animals, birds and landscapes. The riding excursion on the ranch with a gaucho was a highlight. Each and every member of staff were friendly and helpful. An unforgettable stay.

Feb 2024 stay - 3 days total (split stay, 2 different rooms) $1000/day included Bkf, boxed lunch, Din. Wonderful stay. Description as promised. Not 5 star (regarding rooms) but tries to be, which is okay because you are there for a hiking/outdoor experience, not a glamourous pampering. Small mistakes here and there, but staff always worked to resolve in my favor. Purchased horseback riding (twice) - great time, but horses so well trained; if been on horse once before, then consider yourself an expert. Dinners were extremely good. All staff every accommodating. In 3 days, no problems unresolved. Only negative would be King beds are really 2 double beds pushed together. Stayed 1 night at Hotel Lago Gray (for convenience to Cat) and this place much better.
