We stayed during shoulder season and felt as though we had a semi-private oasis.

Located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, EcoCamp Patagonia offers a truly unique stay in charming geodesic domes inspired by the region’s ancestral dwellings. Unique and almost spiritual place. It really felt like a small heaven where you can be outside of the busy world. Additionally the food was great, we listened to a nice talk about hiking and joined the yoga session in the morning sun.

Cabañas Avenida España fica em Punta Arenas. A acomodação disponibiliza Wi-Fi grátis em toda a propriedade. The apartment is modern, clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and available via WhatsApp if you have any questions. Although the staff didn’t speak English we communicated through WhatsApp and Google translate. Owner’s dogs are very friendly too on entry to the front yard. Bedding, towels, tea, coffee and toiletries were in the apartment. Punta Arenas is a great city, having European and American influences. There are plenty of places to shop, including duty free shops in the shopping malls. I was visiting family but I felt safe walking around on my own. The people are friendly in cafes, restaurants and shops with some staff speaking limited English.

The guided treks and walks were interesting and we saw so many amazing animals, birds and landscapes. The riding excursion on the ranch with a gaucho was a highlight. Each and every member of staff were friendly and helpful. An unforgettable stay.

Feb 2024 stay - 3 days total (split stay, 2 different rooms) $1000/day included Bkf, boxed lunch, Din. Wonderful stay. Description as promised. Not 5 star (regarding rooms) but tries to be, which is okay because you are there for a hiking/outdoor experience, not a glamourous pampering. Small mistakes here and there, but staff always worked to resolve in my favor. Purchased horseback riding (twice) - great time, but horses so well trained; if been on horse once before, then consider yourself an expert. Dinners were extremely good. All staff every accommodating. In 3 days, no problems unresolved. Only negative would be King beds are really 2 double beds pushed together. Stayed 1 night at Hotel Lago Gray (for convenience to Cat) and this place much better.
