Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails ligger i nationalparken Arenal blot 2,7 km fra Arenal-vulkanen. Awesome attention, their personnel is amazing, they treat you with kindness and compassion all the time. Everything is so unique, clean and well taken care of. Observation deck in front of the restaurant is perfect and the observation tower visit early in the morning will allow you to see many animals including spider monkeys :) This property is for the ones who prefer nature, comfort and still a little bit of adventure over luxury or having an Instagram urban experience. Is down to earth and still a wonderful inmersive but delicate dive into the wild, respectful to the animals and all living creatures.

The pools, the huge breakfast, the restaurant with multiple choices, sushi were great! the environnement, the birds and flowers, the pool bar, the spa the staff. Everything was great!

Amazing. The property is beautiful and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well taken care of and create a truly relaxing environment. The food was simply outstanding – both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Breakfasts were fresh, varied, and full of flavor, while the dinners felt like a real culinary experience. Everything was prepared with care and tasted far better than in many other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a wonderful place not only to stay but also to enjoy authentic, high-quality local cuisine. Highly recommended!

Palo Alto Glamping Hotel ligger i Quesada, 42 km fra Catarata La Fortuna, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, et fitnesscenter og en have samt gratis privat parkering. Such a unique experience, in nature but feeling as comfortable as in a hotel room. Clean, very friendly staff and nice breakfast! Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

The walks and hikes within the property are better than most of the walks we did in national parks throughout the country. Lots of wildlife /birds pass by even when having breakfast. Very nice staff. Perfect setup to visit Mistic bridges early in the morning before the tour buses arrive.

The cacao tour is very interesting, people are very nice, excellent food and magical private hot tub area. You can even dip in with a jungle view and listen to your own playlist. Charming cabinas all in wood and fully comfortable with good shower.

Finca Luna is the perfect balance between environmentally friendly establishment and luxury and comfort. The nature (vegetation and animals from iguanas to sloths)around the hotel compound is amazing and gives lots of options to explore. The staff is wonderful and ready to help and support all your needs, including tours in the area. Our favorite was childrens eternal rainforest hike. The restaurant serves mostly food prepared with homegrown vegetables and fruits through regenerative farming. The accommodation we had was Casa Deluxe and it had everything you need. Swimmingpool is always accesible to relax, and it is cleaned with ozon, so no chlorine, which is fantastic. For practical matters, the internet through wifi worked fantastic (happy kids), and the cost of food was ok, but if you want to explore other restaurant options in the area, you need a car. Overall, Finca was the best place we have ever stayed. Hope to be back someday.

La Fortuna Suites Lodge ligger 250 meter fra La Fortuna Park og tilbyder gratis WiFi samt private værelser med tv. Det er et lille boutique hotel, moderne og simpelt indrettet. Store værelser, og virkelige store badeværelser. Værelset havde udsigt til Arenal vulkanen fra den store dybe terrasse, hvor man kan sidde i læ, hvis der kommer en regnbyge. Personalet er helt fantastisk. Allerede fra ankomsten føler man sig velkommen og værdsat. De tager sig god tid til at lytte og hjælpe selv med de mindste spørgsmål og ringer gerne til tourguide og følger op på tourbookninger. Utrolig simpel og lækker morgenmad. Morgenmadskortet består kun 4 lækre valgmuligheder, samt alt den kaffe og saft man har lyst til. I receptionen er der gratis is og kildevand. På værelset er der kaffemaskine og en lille pose med den lækreste kaffe, hvis man vil have mere kaffe til værelset så kan man hente det i receptionen.
