Awesome attention, their personnel is amazing, they treat you with kindness and compassion all the time. Everything is so unique, clean and well taken care of. Observation deck in front of the restaurant is perfect and the observation tower visit early in the morning will allow you to see many animals including spider monkeys :) This property is for the ones who prefer nature, comfort and still a little bit of adventure over luxury or having an Instagram urban experience. Is down to earth and still a wonderful inmersive but delicate dive into the wild, respectful to the animals and all living creatures.

Set in Fortuna, 10 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The pools, the huge breakfast, the restaurant with multiple choices, sushi were great! the environnement, the birds and flowers, the pool bar, the spa the staff. Everything was great!

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Amazing. The property is beautiful and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well taken care of and create a truly relaxing environment. The food was simply outstanding – both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Breakfasts were fresh, varied, and full of flavor, while the dinners felt like a real culinary experience. Everything was prepared with care and tasted far better than in many other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a wonderful place not only to stay but also to enjoy authentic, high-quality local cuisine. Highly recommended!

Set in Quesada, 42 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Palo Alto Glamping Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. This was a special place. It was farther away from Arenal than I expected, which at first was disapointing; however, there are beautiful hikes are areas all around here that are stunning and almost empty. Excellent, comfortable facility with good food and wonderful staff.

Featuring mountain views, Wellness Park CR features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Beautiful property. The walks and hikes within the property are better than most of the walks we did in national parks throughout the country. Lots of wildlife /birds pass by even when having breakfast. Very nice staff. Perfect setup to visit Mistic bridges early in the morning before the tour buses arrive.

Located in Fortuna and with La Fortuna Waterfall reachable within 10 km, Amor Arenal Adults Friendly provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. It was clean and creepy crawly free. Everyone did such a great job to keep the grounds clean and safe. They went above and beyond. Any question I had it was answered and always good recommendations.

Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge offers 60 hectares of Cocoa farm and guests can enjoy tours, chocolate and bird watching. The accommodation features a seating area. Welcoming and beautiful cacao farm property. The cacao tour is very interesting, people are very nice, excellent food and magical private hot tub area. You can even dip in with a jungle view and listen to your own playlist. Charming cabinas all in wood and fully comfortable with good shower.

Offering an outdoor pool and spa centre, Finca Luna Nueva Lodge is set in Fortuna in the Alajuela Region, 26 km from Monteverde. Finca Luna is the perfect balance between environmentally friendly establishment and luxury and comfort. The nature (vegetation and animals from iguanas to sloths)around the hotel compound is amazing and gives lots of options to explore. The staff is wonderful and ready to help and support all your needs, including tours in the area. Our favorite was childrens eternal rainforest hike. The restaurant serves mostly food prepared with homegrown vegetables and fruits through regenerative farming. The accommodation we had was Casa Deluxe and it had everything you need. Swimmingpool is always accesible to relax, and it is cleaned with ozon, so no chlorine, which is fantastic. For practical matters, the internet through wifi worked fantastic (happy kids), and the cost of food was ok, but if you want to explore other restaurant options in the area, you need a car. Overall, Finca was the best place we have ever stayed. Hope to be back someday.

Offering an outdoor pool, relaxing volcanic hot springs and a restaurant, Hotel El Silencio del Campo is located 6 minutes’ drive from Fortuna. Free WiFi access is available. Everything was just perfect! The staff, animals, location, hot springs, food. We travelled with our 3 kids. Perfect spot for them also- in the check in the staff told all information about horse riding, collecting the eggs and when children can milk the cow. It was such a good experience for them, and for us also. Ps! We loved the omlette in the mornings, really good. All was clean and correct, the prices were acceptable, not overkilled. Ex. milksahkes, coctails and food- all was affordable on the site😊 We are gonna miss you guys and definitely when we are coming back to Costa Rica, we are 110% coming back to you. Thank you!
