Very nice villa located in a quiet area inside a resort. The villa suited us very well, 2 adults and 3 children. We also used the private pool a lot more than we thought. It was perfect for the kids to still swim in in the afternoon when we left the beach or one of the area pools. JC is a very good host who really did everything to make us feel comfortable. The first day, JC took us on a short tour so we got to know the local area and Santa Maria, which we appreciated very much. JC also helped us book a full day tour around the island which was also very good. JC responds directly to questions via WhatsApp.

Beautiful Melia resort / pools with nice staff and reasonable prices for drinks / eat a la carte is good if wished from time to time. Nearby tropical garden Vivero is extremely beautiful to visit. Also beaches nearby. Golf course nearby. Green Fee around 100 € + Equipment to rent. I relaxed alot there. Santa Maria town is beautiful with dream beaches and locations for eat and drink for 4€ by taxi / 5€ later at night. Fresh meat is exceptional tasty good by CV animals at Cazou supermarket. No factory farming at Cabo Verde.

I lived in many hotels my last 4 years here but this is TOP NOTCH! You’ll have everything you need, amazing bed and clean bath and kitchen. Pool right outside the door (many of them). Was easy to get to Santa Maria since taxis are right outside the door.

Sal&Love apt in Porto Antigo está a pocos pasos de Praia António Sousa y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. I would give this a solid 9.5 as this was an "almost" perfect accommodation. First of all, the apartment was simply beautiful. The location is just unreal. It looks exactly as the photos and it is directly on the beach. You can hear the ocean from inside. We were also close to the city center and all of the shopping, cafes and restaurants. Check-in was super easy - we booked an airport pickup and the land lady (Lucia) was there waiting for us when we were dropped off. Wifi at the property was pretty unusable, but Lucia gave us a portable modem which worked quite well. TV was also pretty decent with some English channels. Kitchen was well-equipped so that we could eat lunch there most days and a couple of dinners. Basically this apartment was perfect for relaxing in a beautiful environment. I just wish we could've stayed longer. Note of caution: There are about 5 cats that hang around and they are all friendly except the orange one, who scratches.

Sobrado Boutique Hotel se encuentra en Santa Maria, a 7 min a pie de Praia de Santa Maria, y ofrece alojamiento con centro de fitness, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. A great hotel. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!
