Right from the moment we arrived with the welcoming drink, till we left. Personable service and beautiful surroundings. We felt like we were the only guests. Breakfast was delicious and had so much to choose from.

Hotel Maximilian’s is a historic hotel located in the heart of Augsburg, a 10-minute walk from the Fuggerei Museum. It features elegant rooms and suites and a restaurant with show kitchen. Upon arrival, a few young people came up to our room to deliver macrons and fruit. It was such a lovely surprise!! They were very welcoming and professional. Such a nice bright start to our time in Augsburg. I also LOVE the pillow menu and the smell of the soap in the room.

Wonderful, fresh breakfast with an amazing view from the breakfast room. Fabulous and friendly welcome and service. Outstanding garden bedroom. Offered parking beyond checkout to allow more time to sight-see before leaving location, as well as use of toilet. Will definitely return.

The spa and food and the crowning jewels of this hotel. Our room was so quiet and peaceful- the quietest hotel room we have ever had. The spa ist absolutely first class. The dinner and breakfast are excellent and with very high quality produce.

Our room was modern, spacious and clean. In the hotel restaurant we had excellent evening meal and breakfast during our overnight stay. Location is perfect; Bad Mergentheim city centre is close, but the hotel is situated in a quiet street. Parking in the hotel parking lot.

The whirlpool, sauna and plunge pool were the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring the town. The owner is very attentive to ensure an enjoyable stay. We will be back again.
