La Mirage is a 5-star Hotel & Spa built on the grounds of a 200-year old Andean Hacienda. It features orchid gardens filled with peacocks and a gourmet cooking school. We had absolutely great time, evenings by the fireplace in the room after a nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant—mornings in their swimming pools. The staff is gorgeous, they bring little treats and are always there if you need anything. The room is big, there is a big comfortable bed and they give you hot water bottles for the night since it gets chilly in this mountain region. That little town where the hotel is - is quite cute and a very safe place to be.

Beautiful property, good restaurant on site, beautiful buildings (aside from the Glamping Dome/Bungalow), and a great location with direct access to the bike path around the lagoon. Staff moved quickly to change our room when we requests.

Great location within 5 minute walk of Poncho Square/ market. Comfortable and clean rooms around central with lots of plants / natural light courtyard. Room had lots of cupboards plus desk. Breakfast served in an upstairs front room overlooking street with fresh fruit/hot egg dish/ bread/ croissant. Good security at front door with it locked when no-one is at reception. Helpful staff.

The staff was friendly, welcoming and kind. The room was clean; the bed was very comfortable and bed sheets and comforter were crisp and clean. The towel set up was perfect the first day, but then towels were not replaced as they were removed from the room each day, until only one towel remained. The breakfast was very good some mornings, with fresh eggs and warm rolls, and mediocre other days, with not-hot, not-soft eggs and hard, not yummy rolls. There was not fruit offered (I was there 8 days), only juice. The hotel location was good and in walking distance to parks, restaurants and activities.
